  1. No, mine is still in Canada, sigh... Nic
  2. Wow, more stuff to buy. What's with the $65 $91 prices? One a transkit the other a full kit? Nic
  3. I had sent one to Randy at Perry's resin a long time ago. I was beginning to think I would never see it again as I have been wanting to do a THP version for quite some time. Glad it is coming out. Nic
  4. No one makes the old school stuff any more. There used to be a company that did, but they went under. The only thing in production that can be modified is the Chimneyville AHP decals that you can use the door shield on. Nic
  5. If you want pics of that engine too, I can take them. I have almost the entire HRM line so if you want to see something. His stuff is so great, I can't pass them up. Nic
  6. Looks like I may be getting a case, lol. Finally a new police cruiser! Getting tired of the Vics and Imapalas. Nic
  7. Here's the engine transkit. It is well worth it... HRM Engine Kit Fujimi's kit is more proportionate. I have gotten a MFH 330P4 and a 412. I would recommend getting Fujimi's kit and the engine kit over any 330P4 by MFH. If you want a 412, you'll either have to modify the kit and the engine or get the MFH kits. I kept my 412, but sold the 330P4, lol. Nic
  8. Just shoot him an email at paul@fishermodels.com. He's been very busy with the start of the show season. He's really busy making all the new white elephant Ferrari kits. It is worth the wait. He usually does have a 6 week lead time with kits. Nic
  9. He was a current generation Mustang. Nic
  10. And what kit would that be? I might have an extra to send you... Nic
  11. Sounds cool considering most of my stash is LeMans. I have two kits which I already started but haven't gotten very far, will that be okay? They are the Quikskins Cadillac LMP and the Monogram Mercedes 300SLR with Harold Bradford conversion. I'll post some pics of them in the next couple of days. Nic
  12. I have the Barbour racing 1979 transkit you made and am very please with it. If you plan to offer these at a later date, please include me as I will definitely buy one. I would love to do the LeMans winner or the Apple. Nic
  13. Looks great. I will probably order 3 or 4! Nic
  14. If it is the rectangle below the champion logo on the passenger side, it is a Valvoline decal. It's about 3/4th of the way down on the right hand side. Nic
  15. The two decal sets I would love to see are the Mecom blue and white from Sebring in 1963 that Roger Penske drove and the #25 silver with French flag stripe from the 1963 LeMans. Nic
  16. I don't get to build much, but that is changing with some time off coming up. As soon as I can get a few house projects done, I'll be in good shape this summer and winter. I try to limit myself on buying. I really try to stick with only a couple of subjects like Porsches, Ferraris, and LeMans racers. If I like it I get it. If I come along a particular item I want, I'll try to get it or save up for it. I've spent anywhere from $3 to $280 on a single kit not to mention other pieces to enhance it. It really depends on what I want. I have learned that if you don't get some things now, it will cost you three or four times that later. A very good example of that is a Porsche GT1 from 1998. I have a scale productions kit, which would probably fetch $200 or more on evilBay, whereas I paid about $60. Nic
  17. Count one 250, 246, and 288 for me pre-ordered. I'm curious on the 250 if there will be any decal makers doing some versions. I hopt it is as good as MFH's. Nic
  18. Thought that some of you might like to see some pics of various 512's out there. Ferrari's galore They also have some links to other pages with lots of pics and detail at the very bottom. Nic
  19. There were several 512 kits. Fisher made the 512M's, 512S long tail (as Brian's is), and the 512S spyder. There of course were two different front ends. You can tell by the shape of the front inlets. There were also the 512S coupe which is what Heller made. Model Factory Hiro has released just about everything except the coupe in full detail. I'm not quire sure what Paul Fisher modeled his after, but they are very nice. It seems MFH did theirs with the Heller. Nic
  20. I think the worst color conversation was burple!
  21. I may go back in a couple of weeks if you need something else. I plan on taking several more pics since these turned out a little blurry. Nic
  22. The car looks fantastic. I've been fortunate enough to see the real car in person. Fotki pics It is a beautiful car in person. It's amazing that a GTP car could retain a lot of the original car. You don't get to see that much. I can only think of the Mercedes CLK's and Porsche 911GT1's that flow as good as the originals if not better. BTW, for those that want to see this car, it is sitting in the Hendricks Motorsports Museum in Concord, NC. Nic
  23. There's only three kits not listed on his site that he did. He did a Sunoco McLaren that had different striping and more like the early McLaren version. The second is the Porsche 908 longtail. The final was never released. It was the Porsche 917K. I think LMM released it first, but it was announced in one of his fliers. BTW, the Maserati 450S that Ed Cervo listed was a modified Scale Kraft kit that was a modified Johnson Teapot. I have one of the old Johnson Teapot kits, that I've been trying to pond off. I may put it up on EvilBay this week. Nic
  24. Looking good. I noticed that Studio27 has theirs up now. The MS Hobbies looks a lot better. Some of the wings and edges look way too thick on the S27 kit. Nic
  25. Looking forward to them. I'm really interested in the outside bits (overall body, wheels, transmission/wing, and the PE bits). It looks great from a distance. I have several of his 962's. BTW, are the decals Cartograf? Thanks, Nic
