There a 54 Model kits, But thats up too you, 54 chevy panel and car, a 54 chevy gasser, and 54 Hudson Hornet! "pretty kool" a 54 ford gasser, But again, its up too you, Mine is 60, so im kinda limited too like a 60 chevy impala,,lol a football feild long..lol

And 6 months in, like july 1970, then you can build the 70 camaro, or 70 1/2, huh? Or 65! Do the 65 stang or 65 1\2? But! If your like march! Then have too stick with the 70..also 79 thru 88 as you said! Some killer cars! Mustangs, camaros! The 79 z28 is sweet! Or thr fox body, so a street stock with NOS, lol, be fun..little add extra too it, be lots of different kits an years!

Really nice build n dedication too the kit is a well made p/s, I liked the history, I too love this an Grumpy's toys, seen them run each other in 73 at I think Bristol spring nationals n been hooked ever since. Say not that it matters, but is it missing the coil pack or is it on the other fender well? I have extra if you need it? An it's off the original Jo-Hann kit, let me know, beautiful paint job too..

Sorry! But i also thought it would be cool, to do a group build of the year date you were born in! I.e. 1960! Chevy, ford dodge, what ever, vw, lol! unless someone here is past like 1924 or something should be able to find something in your birth date..? Thoughts?

Here are a cpl pics of the new release Mustang 5.0 Revell kit, I had no major fitting problems,has a nice detailed interior, race seats an stock seats, very nice exhaust setup if you build it per box, I used a high rise manifold an Demon carb, a nicer set of headers to some short pipes "66 nova ones" 2 sets of rims, an some small slicks n I went a size up, like from 14" to 15" slicks, I will post some finished pictures under drag cars when finished, thank you all for looking an have a great week. Oh, also working on the vintage revell Bob Glidden p/s Thunder Chicken, jk my pops always referred to them as this, he raced n worked at GM, kinda inside joke..

Hands down for me Is "AMT Red Alert Chevelle" This kit has the wrong Body right off the bat, it has the 72 with the single head lights on each side! Bob Hamalton ordered his, and it was the 70 with the twin lights on each side! His was the Factory LS6 1970 Chevy Chevelle with a 454 Automatic! The kit has a 396 SS with badges! Crazy! You would think amt would have atleast got the right year for such a famous Car as the Rec Alert! Now also as i said, the kit has a 396 that has a Blower! WHAT! Yup, even o. His window has big white lettering with his class and A for automatic 1127 D/A! The 1127 changed from 127 or 1127 due to sometimes racing in the IHRA! But the D is his class and A is for automatic! And he ran on average low 12's this being his national record holder, back too the kit! It has a 4 speed! So with getting the right body, and dropping a 454 from the 70 impala kit, i had to make a H ot T shifter for the automatic! The kit had full roll cage! His interrior was fully black stock, with the exception of z big tech and z set of 3 gages under the dash where the ash tray pulled out, i replaced the carb with a Holly 4 barrel! Put the stock air cleaner on with 454 badges had to print them, also Bob use to flip the air cleaner upside down for max air flow, he had a set of lakewood traction bars, i have pics of my car in this fourm if ya wanna look, but this kit has too be in top 5 of worst kit ever. Thy even made a tow van combo kit, and heck this car kit only sells up too 125.00 or more, for a fubur kit! Lol. Sorry for the history lesson but i did a lot of research on this car. p.s. the new Jack Reacher kit is a good start for building the correct car!
