  11. Hello again guys, This is the car which was driven by Jeff Gordon during his inaugural NASCAR Sprint Cup season back in 1992, it was spray painted with tamiya mica blue and italian red and then clearcoated with gloss clear from Mr.Hobby. The only additional to this model is a set of seatbelt. Let me know what you think and thanks for looking. Regards Krishna Iskandana Perth, Western Australia
  12. Thanks for the encouragement guys.... Regards
  13. Hello again guys, Here's an old monogram kit, a Goodwrench Chevy Pick Up Nascar Truck. The real car (driven by Mike Skinner) was the champion of 1995 inaugural season of Nascar Super Truck Series. The model was spraypainted with tamiya ts 14 black and then clearcoated with gloss clear from Mr Hobby, meanwhile I used Candy Tone Red for the chassis. I bought this kit secondhand for a reasonably cheap price (18 dollar including postage cost) and it was so much fun to build. Let me know what you think and thanks for looking. 14. Thanks for your kind appreciations guys. Regards Krishna Iskandana
  15. Hi again guys, I have always wanted to to build an old school drag car, fortunately I was given the right opportunity when AMT reissued their 65 chevelle superwagon. The model was painted with the combination of pure white and italian red (both from tamiya) and then clearcoated with gloss clear from Mr Hobby. I added seat belt and engine wires, scratchbuilt the roll cage from unused exhaust pipes, and also light weathered the exhaust headers. Let me know what you think and thanks for looking. Regards Krishna Iskandana Perth, Western Australia
  16. @Drago: I am really sorry mate, I dont have the pics, I only used the pictures from the model box as a reference. Thanks for your kind comments guys, Regards Krishna Iskandana
  17. Hello again Guys, I just finished building this one, Tony Foti's LAPD Racing Chevy Camaro Pro Stock from revell. The kit has become a collector's item and has been hard to be found at a reasonable price almost anywhere. I have to say that I was lucky to have bought this for 40 US dollars including postage cost. I spraypainted the body with tamiya black and pure white, added ignition wires and seatbelt, and light weathered the header to obtain metal burnt effect. Let me know what you think and thanks for looking. Regards Krishna Iskandana Perth, Western Australia
  18. third, a 1980 coupe (from arii) painted with tamiya metallic green fourth, a 1985 (from mpc) coupe painted with tamiya light metallic blue. all of them were clearcoated with mr hobby gloss clear, I actually have a 63 stingray, but it is currently under restoration, so I will post it next time. Let me know what you think and thanks for looking. Regards Krishna Iskandana Perth, Western Australia
  19. Hello again guys, I didnt post anything for the last two weeks so I thought that I will post my corvettes all at once, first, a 1957 stingray (from mpc)painted with tamiya bright mica red second, a 1975 stingray (from mpc) painted with tamiya light metallic blue (i've posted this one before, so you must have seen it)
  20. Oh, I see your point now, well I must say that I did that because I wanted to obtain a single tone color for the parts that should have been chrome. I thought it would look awkward if I spray painted the side trim silver and I left the bumpers, windshield trim and the front and real grille chrome. Thanks Harry Regards
  21. Well.......I built this one when I was home in Indonesia for holidays and I couldn't find any model stores which are sophisticated enough to sell bare metal foils or even chrome paints, and I thought that applying the chrome stickers that came with the kit just wouldn't do the model justice. Thanks for your comments guys Regards Krishna Iskandana
  22. Hi again guys, This time I will post an old monogram kit, a '59 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz. I bought this kit for 15 Aussie dollars during a regular swap meet in Perth, WA. It was built oob, spraypainted with tamiya italian red and then clearcoated with gloss clear from Mr.Hobby.The interior is tamiya primer flat white. Let me know what you think and thanks for looking. 23. Hi again guys, Here's an old tamiya kit, a 1977 BMW 320i,this is actually a " failed project " because originally I was going to build this model as an old BMW race car which raced in 1977 DRM season with white color and BMW M-series red and blue stripes. Unfortunately the decals did not react very well with the gloss clear, which meant that I had to strip the paint and do the bodywork all over again. With no spare decal set cheap enough to be found online, I decided to build it to be some sort of test car, and incorporated some of the decals which I didn't use in my previous models, therefore I sprayed the body with flat black. Although I think the result is not quite enough to overcome my disappointment, I'm gonna post it anyway, Let me know what you think and thanks for looking. Regards Krishna Iskandana Perth, Western Australia
