  1. I hear you Daryl about the decals. I got lucky and I got these before things went bad. Phil, The WIP is posted in the drag race section under project six pack. Thanks!
  2. I did dull coat a set of wheels but I must have done something wrong as they came out looking foggy and milky. I made several mistakes on this build including decal placement and other bonehead moves. I will post more photos in the drag racing section tomorrow. Thanks for looking.
  3. The web site seems to be gone. I may have John's email somewhere, if it is still good.
  4. A little update. It is not looking good. I even sent him a request for my money back through paypal and no response. I have been getting other emails from people with inside information that leads me to believe it is a lost cause. Rick is the first vendor I have ever had just take the money and run. That being said I would have Decals by Lucas should be avoided.
  5. Now that is a great line up! With the new 70 Cuda coming out are you going to add that one to your collection? Really cool! I started to build them and all I have is the 61 Dodge, 70 SS/DA Cuda, 7 the 66 AWB car. Your builds are inspiring!
  6. Thanks for the offer Al. I have the Johan parts to and just never thought about using them. I do like the looks of the carbs from the Duster kit, just had to modify them a little to get them to sit right. You guys are depressing me.... I was hoping it gets easier as the boy gets older, at least he can go the the bathroom on his own!
  7. That is a tough build to pull off. Nice job! Speed city has a great body to build this one that I would love to pick up someday.
  8. WOW! THat is outstanding! I have an R&R 63 and it soooo rough it has been sitting over a year as I work up the courage to take it on. Great Job!
  9. Very nice! I have the same project on the shelf. Nice work on a great car!
  10. Really nice and clean. Good work.
  11. Got the clear on.
  12. I use coils from Kris, they are precolored and look great. Never a problem with shipping timely.
  13. That is outstanding! The details are over the top.
  14. The air claner is indeed from monogram. The intake and carbs were just in the parts box, I think the intake is from a Superbee and the carbs are from an AMT Duster. When this started I was just going to do a quick build using the Johan kit out of the box. But I just kept changing stuff. I did get resin seats but used the rest of the interior from an AMT GTX. Thanks!
  15. I can count several mistakes I made just because I overlooked them. I blame the new born baby boy in our house for the lack of attention to detail. I should have removed the windshield wipers, door handles, and Roadrunner script on the trunk lid. My plug wires should have been yellow based on the restored car. It still has a long way to go to get finished. Thanks!
  16. Got the decals on,
  17. That is great to hear! Maybe he is still going to make things right for the rest of us. Thanks for lettting us know.
  18. Nice stuff and good service. I have a 68 Barracuda Super Stocker from him.
  19. Very cool. Nice details.
  20. Nice work I have heard that is a tough kit to make look good and you did a real nice job with it.
  21. Real nice work! It is a great kit! That BMF is so much fun
  22. Very cool!
