  1. Not me! My head is growing at an alarming rate, thus outpacing the available space for my hair. Yeah! That's it! That's the ticket!
  2. WOW! Great build! The chopped Deuce will be available when?
  3. This is a second incarnation of an '02 build of a '34 Ford Rat Rod, using the leftover body from that project. The old build about fell apart, and I rebuilt it using all new parts, except for the body. The Caddy engine pictured replaces a Studebaker mill, and the frame and suspension is completely new, but made to look old. Building "dirty" is a pile of fun, and I might do it again!
  4. Whoaaa! Too Cool! Everything about it is nicely done!
  5. Just stunning! Everything about it is right!
  6. Here's Tim Boyd's original SAE '96 review of the Revell three-window kit, which is very simailar to the '32 sedan. If you can ind this issue, buy it. The newcomers here will appreciate the article. BTW, great start, Lyle!
  7. A little two walled dio built for photographic purposes. This one's been hanging around my basement for a few years, and I finally started to fool with it again about three or four weeks ago. The tool chests and benches came from one of the old AMT/ERTL race car transporter kits from the late eighties. I'm not even close to done with this. More detail will be added as time goes by.
  8. Always a lot of fun, hosted by great people! Check out my Fotki album for just a few shots of the great stuff to see there. http://public.fotki.com/DonaldAnthonyBanes/2007-mamas-show/
  9. Nice people that host a great show! Anybody going?
  10. HELLO! That's gonna be NICE! And different!
  11. I was helping a vendor sell his stuff, so my time was divided between the rooms. Fortunately, you guys have better albums for me to peruse. Here's mine anyway.http://public.fotki.com/DonaldAnthonyBanes...t21march242007/
  12. Bob should, but I doubt that he will! LOL! I finally had some time to fiddle with my booth this weekend, and it's just great! The fan is relatively quiet, and evacutaes the overspray and stink very nicely. I had a very satisfying Tamiya rattle can fest, and everything turned out nicely. The little bit of overspary that settled on the inside of the booth will clean up with some 91% al-kee-hall. I can paint iside now, and the Wife doesn't complain about the stink (can't blame her for complaining). Plus, I have a cat here, and I don't want him getting sick (or worse) from the paint and it's fumes. It's All Good!
  13. There's a fourth member. Chuck Darnell bought one (Peace Keeper Deluxe) after I e-mailed him a picture of mine. He's pretty pleased with it, like the rest of us. This morning, I went to Lowe's and bought a piece of Plexiglass that's sized for the booth's spray area. I may also make some doors for it out of plexi, to keep the airborne junk out of it when it's not in use.
  14. I picked this up a few weeks ago from Bob Pace. It's the "Peace Keeper Deluxe" version of his line of booths. It took me an entire Sunday just to make space for this beast, and I intend on "firing it up" tomorrow. I haven't had a real spray booth for over twenty years now, and painting outside was getting real old. Besides, it's too cold now. At my age, it's all about the comfort level, and this booth will boost that level a few notches. For those of you in the market for a spray booth, try www.pacepaintbooths.com/pace/. No, I'm not paid to pitch his product! LOL!
  15. Outstanding! What else can I say?
  16. Trust me on this! There'll be a bit more to talk about in a few weeks.
  17. Check out the album! Lots of great models to peruse, and plenty of swap meet vendors to empty your wallet! All good!http://public.fotki.com/DonaldAnthonyBanes...ember_showdown/
