  1. Cool! Picked one up a few weeks ago and this is some interesting reference.
  2. God bless Mr. and Mrs. Junkman. Women are much stronger than people realize. Such an unselfish act to stay strong for the rest of the family. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
  3. Hmm,wonder if it is a GM designer cause Tony's build looks awesome.
  4. Erik, chrome looks good. Brian and Steve, thanks, now I have another quest . No kits but I picked up 3 shelving units,Workforce 4 shelf plastic for $20 a piece (Home Depot). Had all my kits in Tupperware containers, which I liked cause they were safe, but bothered me that I couldn't see them
  5. My first model was in the summer of 09 at the age of 37 and it was the Revell convertible Saleen. it was to be a replica of my 1/1,although I don't have a sn95 nor a Saleen,I have a new edge GT but it was only to please me. I don't really remember my childhood so I'm unsure if I built models as a kid. It's doubtful though.
  6. No problem. Glad I could help. Honestly you bring a lot to the forum and it benefits us as much as it does you.
  7. Nothing worse than going to a job you don't like. Being a Plumber is a pretty crappy job already (couldn't resist). Congratulations.
  8. Before I even typed the words it was stuck in my head. I don't want to be the only one. Welcome back to the hobby and welcome to the forum. Welcome back, Your dreams were your ticket out Welcome back, To that same old place that you laughed about Well the names have all changed since you hung around But those dreams have remained and they're turned around Who'd have thought they'd lead ya (Who'd have thought they'd lead ya) Here where we need ya (Here where we need ya) Yeah we tease him a lot cause we've got him on the spot, welcome back Welcome back, welcome back, welcome back
  9. Tru,I look forward to seeing the 60 painted and finished. Very nice friend you have there. The 58's are out from Monogram! Thy have a optional bubble top !
  10. Sorry to quote the pics, but these deserve another look. These are truly awesome builds. The job on these is incredible. Two or three of the same model is sufficient for me. I bought a case (6) of Amt haulers only cause the deal was good. I have been tempted with some of the new releases but there are so many at any given time I want. Rather have a single of ten than ten of a single.
  11. I'm not familiar with that specific set. I have used the badges on a mustang build and that 5.0 in Chrome looked good. And a little dab of superglue is what I used. A tip I heard is to use clear nail polish.
  12. I might focus on painting the bodies of most of the models I have as I enjoy it and want to practice.
  13. Nice boat , love to take that for a cruise!
  14. The day after is the best day. Everyone is much more relaxed, kids are enjoying their gifts. Didn't have to wake at 4:30 to open presents We have a winter storm coming that they are making a huge deal about so maybe I'll have another day to enjoy the family.
  15. Thought I've heard what oldscool recommends and that is the route I took.
  16. We gave our kids(girls 16,18-boy 10) a Kinect and three games as a joint present,it fun to watch and good laughs.
  17. Nice haul,I like the selection.
  18. Wow very clean. Must be a suburb cab
  19. I remember the hangman and monkeemobile but must have missed the coffee can? It's awesome. My favorite of the trio. Very nice group, you do nice work.
  20. Likewise, and a healthy and prosperous year for everyone.
  21. Well your having fun and enjoying building and that is the best part. You got a lot accomplished in a short time. I really like the rig, great idea.
