smart phone test
Greg Cullinan replied to slant6's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Well sometimes too much time in the hobby room leads to me hearing voices! , -
Steve, Nice score on all the four doors. I've been looking for a reasonable T.J. Hooker for a bit. Few models the past couple days. First a non car from my favorite t.v.program growing up.And the Satans crate just looked cool. My stash is lacking in the truck department so I am trying to boost the numbers. And my first case for a display model which I have in my bedroom as long as the wife lets me. And lastly, not model related but a big moment for me. Myself,my son,my youngest daughter and my oldest daughters boyfriend will be going to Happy Valley to see the Michigan State game on Thanksgiving weekend which is a whiteout. I've been a fan for 25+ years and have always dreamed of going. So I am piling on the warmest, whitest Penn State gear I can find!

I heard they are going to come up with a system that allows you to hear voices over the phone for now I guess we will all have to text. -

I use the Droid,it keeps me signed in all the time unless I erase my browsing history. When I view this site I view it as a Mobile page, does anyone else? I also use my phone as a camera, snap a picture, upload it on Photobucket mobile and post. -
Stalled projects; we all have them.
Greg Cullinan replied to whale392's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I have two stalled projects.Unfortunately I truly have OCD.I had a few more but they had to go . Sometimes I struggle with having open kits . Makes me wonder if this is the hobby for me, as I see open kits, bags or boxes of parts is a big piece of this hobby. Thanks for letting me share -
Miniature bicycle/motorcycle chain
Greg Cullinan replied to sjordan2's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I can appreciate what you were trying to do,I wish I had an idea for you. The only thing that comes to me is to use a basic chain. Are those the wheels ? -
CHECK YOUR STASH!!!!!!
Greg Cullinan replied to ismaelg's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I too use the large rubbermaid containers.I figure they are almost impenetrable. Home Depot has black ones with a yellow lid that holds about 30 kits. They run about $12 which I think is a good price. I do however have about 100 kits in my basement closet that I am in need of containers for. -

I picked up a new air compressor with a 1 1/2 gallon tank. The one I already owned didn't have a tank and I couldn't find fittings to use on tires. And when I came home a few models I ordered online were on the porch. I never knew AMT made a car carrier,I had only seen the Revell Hauler.I got a decent deal on a case.

I say buy a Mustang. Part are readily available and reasonably priced. As a plus it is a car that you can fix up if you ever wanted to. I am mechanically inclined.I guess you can say my Dad raised me that way.f he was doing some fixing,I was helping. I grew up on motorcycles or dirtbikes and took them apart when necessary.Same with cars when I was younger and labor costs were not in my budget. I still do everything around my house myself just out of pride.I like things to be the way I want it and to sit back and say I did it. But as I am getting older I figure do it while I can.

I was in Virginia this weekend. We went to Busch Gardens.it was in Williamsburg which is pretty close to Richmond. It is nice around there. I noticed the cost of living is reasonable as well.

You may be able to find the decals and use the Testors Charger. I am doing this with the Philadelphia Highway Patrol Charger that Lindbergh teased me with. I too was pretty excited,my Pop was a cop in Highway so I wanted to build it for him. I got tired of waiting so I bought decals, push bumber and lifts from ebay. So I have everything I need except the divider and all I need to do is build it.

What can I do about these gaps?
Greg Cullinan replied to Mr. Show's topic in Tips, Tricks, and Tutorials
I also would suggest a glue like Tenax or Ambroid when this type of glue is applied it welds seams.
