I guess I should start saving it.
The first thing I do is snip all parts off of sprues and dispose of sprue.
I guess it makes me feel like I am making progress with less bulk
I did use he sprue for the frame and axle I was working on and it was perfect.
"why don't you use sprue?" I have a jar and a box full. Doesn't everyone save sprue ?
I used very thin sheet styrene (.010) and used the clamps(24 hrs) to add a little curvature,
then allowed the glue to do the rest.
Possibly since I have the skirts on the outside of the fenders I was able to use the thin styrene.
I'm not sure if the .010 would look to thin with exposed edges.
* I tried multiquote but it was all jumbled together.
I got lucky and found it through the Wanted section here and made a trade.
I have seen a Jimmy Flinstone teardrop and a
teardrop from the Australian store that sells the Uncertian T on Ebay.
The Flintstone teardrop is also available on Ebay.
I believe they go for $20 roughly.
I have this idea of a hot rod duece with a retro type tear drop trailer.
I will use the new Revell 32 Ford and a resin teardrop trailer(thanks Len ).
Just getting started, well believe it or not I already have a few hours into the trailer.
Made a frame and axle out of sprue and have a hitch from parts box in mind
and also made fenders from sheet styrene.
Bear with me,thanks for checking it out and any ideas are welcome.
Not to count another mans pennies but I don't see how there could be a ton of profit in a model car mag.
And not to paint someone I don't really know, but I can't help but wonder if Gregg puts out this magazine as a service or courtesy for you guys.
Just a thought...
Looks like your people know you well Joe , Happy Birthday.
I had a pile on the porch today,
The AMT Customizing kit is a 61 Tempest 4 door.
The resin pieces are hoods, chin spoiler, spoiler and vent windows for sn95 Mustangs.

I am in the roofing business, here in Philadelphia it is all

Known in the industry as whirlybirds.

The guy with the Ferarri has my luck.I park on the other side of the lot,not even close to another car.
But sure enough when I come back there is someone parked a foot away .
Really cool Jerome.
I've been patiently waiting for a build up of this kit.
Yours has surpassed my expectations by far.
And you photography is excellent as well.
I hope to one day have my act together like you.
What size is ideal to make a frame for a car?
Really for a tear drop trailer? Which I guess would be similar.
I am ordering online and when I tried to order plastic for axles before I ended up with plastic as thin as string
Any help is appreciated.
