  1. Hey Carl,I remember we did a trade but I forget were your located, looks like a lot of interesting cars where your from,I'm guessing must be a big city? The Jag is sick, like I've said before,I wouldn't own a Donk but I can dig the movement. And the Vette is pretty cool too, definitely different!
  2. Thanks for the pictures Joe. One of my favorite parts of this site, even if I don't make it out to a lot of car shows and I can always point on seeing pictures here.
  3. There's always something else you need. Do you have hydrator? Lol
  4. I just received $50 in Ebay bonus bucks so they are ok with me. The one thing I don't understand is why people bid with 5 or 6 days left?
  5. I'm finishing up a 63 Tempest awb,the decals fell apart in my hands so trying to scrounge something else up and I have a 70 Impala that I'm working on the paint.
  6. Went to Michaels and got a kit and some paints and used a coupon. and then went to Advanced Auto and got some Dupli Color primer and their new color cans which are larger and official manufacturer colors. Also used a coupon
  7. Nova courtesy of Micheals 40% coupons, the AMT kit is a 62 Buick.
  8. Sounds good to me,I can appreciate where your at, since it is where we all strive to be. Content with ourself.
  9. My thoughts and prayers go out to our family. My wife is a pediatrics nurse so I may be a little bias but I believe kids doctors and nurses are some of the best
  10. Brian,I like the picture of the Firebird in the mirror. Way cool.
  11. Nice job, must have parked that in Philly,we have a lot of dashes that look like this
  12. Your trim and script really stand out to me,nice build.
  13. Man that is a clean build and the paint came out smooth.Great color combo too.
  14. Sweet Goat, looks good in yellow. Surprising we don't see way more GTO's built up.
  15. Looks good with the up top and great stance, nice job.
  16. What?? HUH??? Get off of here and back asleep!! ** Apologizes to those with old school internet but I just had to quote this beast***
  17. Congratulations!!! :D I can only imagine how proud you are,My oldest graduated high school last June and it brought a tear to my eye Wow,one extreme to the other.Texas to Alaska,Isn't it too cold for anything to burn up there
  18. I get about a dozen or so mpg in my 03 GT,its auto. That's city driving, racing to the stop sign MPG has never phased me except in 07 when gas was $4.00 a gallon and I was commuting from my shore house to work 4-5 times a week at 180 miles round trip in a Ford Expedition it was about $400 a week.(another 12 MPG vehicle) I would never not buy a car just because of gas mileage, well I shouldn't say never,at least in this point in time.
  19. Nice build, looks clean all smoothed out. Your paint never ceases to amaze me, have you ever done a tutorial, tips or tricks topic? So the music gives us an idea of what is going through your mind, and gives me an inclination of what is going through your lungs .
  20. I may have said this before , black/red combo is pure sweetness. Very clean and smooth build.
  21. Well sir, you've made a Mopar I would like to have . Totally awesome work, out of control detail and style.
  22. Mark, Thanks for the info and clarity.
  23. James, forgive my highjack Hey Mark,(or anyone willing to steer me in the right direction) I have a few questions,if you could help I appreciate it. I hate to bother you with what is probably repetitive questions, I googled, visited each manufacturers website with no insight. 1. Is Dupli-color primer lacquer based? ( this has been the only primer I've used and have a liking for it) 2. House of Kolors airbrush, ready to spray bottles, lacquer or enamel? Or urethane? I made myself a small cheatsheet due to my mixing up the facts. So far I come up with(from your reply ).. enamel over lacquer-ok lacquer over lacquer-ok I honestly have 10 different brands/types of paint including Creatix water based and unfortunately don't know what to do with them .. Thanks again
  24. Welcome, most definitely look forward to seeing your work and your process.
