"Goldfinger" car goes to auction
Greg Cullinan replied to sjordan2's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I wouldn't be surprised if it goes over the maximum estimate the way auctions have inflated values. Will be interesting to see. -
Really clean. No brush strokes and lettering is still raised. Pie slicks, slicks and big and littles were available.

emodelcars.com update
Greg Cullinan replied to crispy's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
The funny thing is I saw the rack on there a week ago,I made a mental note to sign up before it ended and I missed it. So I saw Chris resisted in and registered and immediately bid and figured it was going to be a battle,I noticed all the views and was expecting some snipers on the last day. -

Chris you have been a pleasure to deal with, extremely professional. I get paid in 2 hours and once I straighten out my bills I will be on emodelcars! -
Thanks, they are off of ebay,seller-dman1940 . Pat was close cause I actually thought they were Modelhaus, the packaging is evem similar. These are nice though,I believe they are painted where Modelhaus are white/black resin. Price was similar as well.

Australian Street Machine- WILD CAD
Greg Cullinan replied to MILD's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Great idea for a thread and I am looking forward to future installments. Now back to that Caddy ,Wow! That is an awesome beast of a machine. I do however find it a little odd that someone with what appears to be vast knowledge of the automobile would put the steering wheel on the wrong side -
Do you keep the box?
Greg Cullinan replied to Hattley's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I was doing the same thing when I started last year, then I had like 20 of them and they had to go. (ocd) But now I have a few "vintage" kits and don't know what to do about saving them. I don't really want them but it would be a shame for a kit to last 40 years til I got hold of it. -

Come in Everyone! What's your 1:1?
Greg Cullinan replied to Jordan White's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Looks like you have all the manufacturers covered Love the duece! -
I think kids not being interested in model cars translates into them not being interested in cars. I believe one reason is new cars are extremely hard to work on without a lot of tools and computers. So the days of putting your blood, sweat and tears into a car are over. No more buying an old car and fixing it up thus knowing a lot about the make up of the auto. As for the subject matter that is available I would think donks and tuners are aimed at the younger crowd. Being that Revell has a few new Donks, maybe more under 20's are buying kits than we think?

Why not Seth Rogan? The new Green Hornet looks killer. I have a black beauty kit from Polar Lights,I figured they will reissue it with the new movie. -
