  5. Is there any solution to remove styrene from drill bits? I typically use a razor or cutters,it is a pain, plus the bit I am using is 1/32nd and fragile. Thanks
  6. I'm back at the bench, thanks to a community build.I am working on my entry for the Demo Derby build. It's a 63 Olds,I am in the process of removing all the trim.
  7. I like #1 .I think the angle is better,I like when the front wheels are turned too. Plus the lighter background with your dark Vette stands out.
  8. I have a 4 pack of dogs from the lil homiez collection. I forget where I bought them from, maybe Pegusus Hobbies.
  9. Mike I am looking forward to your new products. Attention fellas that haven't ordered Shucky's turbos, mark 10-11 on your calender.
  10. Pretty sweet Chuck.Motor looks way cool.
  11. Pretty cool, seems like it wouldn't be cheap and not very permanent.
  12. Here is all my thoughts in no particular order Very touching story about this hobby and the people who make it. Renee is a patron saint of modeling it appears. The collection makes me wish I had found out about these toys when I was a kid. It really looks like there were some cool kits during the hobby's hay day. The two door Crown Vic has a 50 Coupe flavor to it and it's awesome.
  13. It's been a while but I do the same. Just to give you an idea of how I'm drawn to the bench, I stop home during the day(while working) and put an hour or two in at the bench.
  14. I haven't experienced this YET! I have a habit of only wanting sealed kits and I'm wondering now what all the contents look like. ;(
  15. I find myself in the same boat. I have this inclination if I'm stalling on a kit to start another to motivate me. Then it snowballs out of control. I just reboxed a few to start a fresh one.
  16. I've seen more than my share of pimped Chevettes in 1/1 and this is right on point. Nice work.
  17. Pure meanness! Looks sweet, nice job on the two tone.
  18. Derek,I feel your pain.Sometimes these kits torture me. Another one for the shelf though.Looks nice.
  19. Bryan,one word.. WOW!!!!
  20. Looks like you put a lot of work in,definitely paid off! They should make this truck, like the Lincoln pick up. Paint and flames are killer. Any undercarriage pictures?
  21. Nice to see some different scale. Great color with the body and stripe. Wheels are a nice touch too.
  22. Sweet rice rocket, great job on the decals. I just sold my Harley,I always swore I would never own any bike except a Harley. Yesterday I saw a few nice crouch rockets and started second guessing my stance. After this I am convinced.
  23. This is totally cool in my book . Johan? snap or glue? just curious as I have a snap.
  24. Stopped in a Michaels and found kits on sale for $12.99,it was on kits regularly priced at 14.99-17.99 which left out the special additions and such. And older, regular Testors spray for $1.19. I am going to try another Michaels tomorrow for more paint.
  25. ^^^NICE^^^ Many more John.
