  1. Nice builds man! I actually recognize your truck from s10 forum. I'm on there too actually. Brown99sonoma. Keep up the good work and your noma is nice, Wish mine was that nice lol.
  2. Thanks guys! It was a good build.
  3. Thanks, came out better then I thought it would.
  4. This is my second build of the Manx. But this one I decided to use a corvair engine from an amt parts pack. This was the first: This build:
  5. I finally finished this one. During assembly I modified the suspension to lower it but it seems to me it did not do anything to lower the car once it was all glued together other then that it turned out good and I'm glad to have it done. overall this was a excellent build, except for the ride height issue.
  6. I've had this one in the works for awhile. S10 Xtreme, no body kit, c5 corvette z06 suspension and engine. And other stuff to come. Going to build a cage for it too.
  7. Thanks man! I got the interior done. Now I need to finish the chassis/engine and I can call this one done.
  8. body pretty much done, just needs side windows and mirror glass. Now I need to get to this stuff:
  9. Thanks guys for the advice. I actually found multiple 1:1 2 car trailers online with a flat deck and only two axles, but I think I will add the third. I need to find some wheels now.
  10. So I wanted to build a trailer for this Dually I bought awhile ago. So I started to build a 2 car gooseneck style trailer. It's probably far from correct but it is my first trailer build ever. My goal is to make it as realistic as possible, so any tips would be great. The Dually, going to actually paint and detail it once the trailer is done: the hitch, still needs more details: and the trailer so far, I still have alot to go and nothing is 100% yet, just trying to get an idea as I add stuff to it. so thats what I have so far. I want to start on the hitch part of the trailer next but it might be a bit till I have a chance to work on something again. Thanks for looking and let me know what you guys think.
  11. I got the front suspension pretty much done, but the rear still needs some more lowering.
  12. Thanks man, and I agree. After putting them on I am glad I did because it breaks up all that green.
  13. Thanks everyone! So I decided on stripes and did some minor detailing around the body. I hope I can get this thing finished soon but it is coming along quite well so far.
  14. Thanks everyone! Really appreciate it. Mocked up. Wheels need more paint. But I am undecided if I should use stripes or not? I like both looks but am leaning towards no stripes.
  15. Thanks guys! So I got the body painted on the camaro.
  16. The typhoon was slower because it had more weight then the syclone (ie; the roof, electric mirrors, rear air-ride etc). And they killed it because it was poorly marketed and they didn't sell as many as they intended(still limited edition but about 15,000 a yr) and shortly after PAS(The aftermarket outfitter that also produced the 89 turbo trans am) went out of business after gm failed to renew the contract between the two. BTW I love these trucks, absolute dream to own one someday. I already built one kit and plan on building many more sometime.
  17. Thanks everyone! Color is tamiya ts-52 candy lime green. I got the interior mainly painted, needs details still. I painted some of the chassis which I will weather it once I get the suspension on. I also glue together the engine in preparation for the aluminum paint. Debating on using the stripes or not. I like them but then I don't lol we'll see.
  18. Decided to build this for a quick stress free build. I love the new camaro(I know many disagree) and I love the synergy green. So I'm going to build it box stock but with some concept wheels because they look a little better to my eyes. Painting it tamiya ts-52 candy lime green. Pretty close to the 1:1 car. btw the 1:1 color always looks washed out in pictures. In person it is stunning looking. inspiration: build, kit wheels: mold lines and stuff sanded primed, needs door lines scribed yet. engine bay and interior accents sprayed. mock up: more to come soon, gonna be a very quick build.
  19. latest pics of mine: 99 sonoma, staggered 18in ridler 695's, olds bravada bumper, power/leather seat swap, blacked out grill and plastics. Gonna drop it 3/4 soon.
  20. Thanks guys! I'm just going for a cleab street car with big tires and high rear suspension. Just something that looks mean.
  21. Interior is done. I hope to have this done soon.
  22. Thanks guys. I got the body done so it's on to the interior.
  23. Thanks guys. Having a lot of fun with this build!
  24. Painted the vinyl top, and started some trim work. Also got the body polished out. Gotta finish the body and then I can start the interior.
  25. I'm only gonna use the bumper because I like my gmc grill better. Down the road I want a billet grill and I'm gonna cut one up to put in the open spots were the tow hooks were. I bought the grill though because I might shave the emblem, we'll see.
