Thanks everyone!

decided to restart on this build. Ugly before shot: wheels: much better.

Got it painted. Some orange peal but it needs a couple more coats of clear and a good polish. Also made inner trunk bracing detail.

Hey man awesome build! I like how it's a mild custom. looks great. I like how all your builds have the veteran theme to them, keep up the great work. -
Thanks guys! It was a fun build and a cool car too.

OK so this was finished a few months ago but never got around to posting it till now. Box stock except for wheels. Nice kit and everything fits great. Should of filled the two holes in the front bumper but it still looks great. Full album here: http://s373.photobuc...a nissan 300zx/

Here is my finished ram. I scrapped the hood prop because I forgot to install it during assembly, and it would not fit after. Oh well. Not my best build but one of my favorites. Wheels from a revell challenger and I shaved the rear end. The kit gave me some minor problems and the roof is warped pretty good, but overall it was a good build. link to rest of album: http://s373.photobucket.com/albums/oo174/bowtiebadboy33/Dodge%20ram%20custom/

Thanks guys. As for the tires I don't know if I should tuck them in or leave em like the mock up pics. We'll see I guess.

Not much of an update, been quite busy lately. Did get the roof almost finished (added seam overlap on roof), and also flocked the floor. Hopefully get it in some paint soon!

Thanks guys!

So I got the top pretty much finished and cut out the trunk. Now it needs some hinges and jambs. Also filling in some minor spots and then paint!
-
Thanks man. It is a pretty good kit, but I imagine the stock one is even better.

So I started the vinyl top, and as you can see it still needs more work but it's a start. Also gonna pop the trunk open on this build. I'm really liking this build so far!

Thanks everyone! As for the tires they are from a die cast Chevy vega. I'm going for a real old school look.

Thanks guys! Here's what I have accomplished today: Filled the seam on the transmission half's: engine painted and chassis mock up: Got the suspension set the way I want, now to focus on the body. I'm going for a nice looking driver but is dirty and grimy underneath.

I'm trying to get back to building after playing around with the 1:1. I wanted to build a muscle car since I'm board with the newer stuff that I have been building so I picked out amt's Fast and the furious 1970 Monte Carlo. Plans are a black on black with black vinyl top and keystone style wheels. Just a clean looking muscle car. Thanks for looking.

Haha your the forth person to ask that. I have a plan, but let's just say my modeling skills will come in handy for this project.

Bought these for the 1:1. Overall not bad. They need a REALLY good cleaning but are a major improvement over my stained cloth split bench. Plus they are heated
