  1. Love it all - the color, stance, everything!
  2. Looks great! Doesn't need a thing...
  3. I've had this on my list of kits to pick up for a while now, but seeing yours has got me motivated to pick one up this weekend. The weathering is just right. Excellent build!
  4. Beautiful build and a great memory. Thanks for sharing both.
  5. While I appreciate stock builds, I prefer some custom touches. Though I'm not at all a fan of today's large wheel/thin rubber combinations, I have to admit that it does look great on this build. Nicely done. Beautiful paintwork.
  6. Stop second-guessing yourself Anthony - that black paint job is killer! Better than any of mine have ever turned out. Keep up the great work. I'm enjoying following this build. -Ken
  7. Outstanding build!
  8. I love the way that looks. I'll be following this...
  9. Was going through the stash and found this box which I'd kept after building the kit. It's not collectible in a monetary sense, but rather as a conversation piece. Has anyone else come across anything similar? -Ken
  10. Gorgeous!
  11. Great build! Nice to see a classic that's not showroom fresh.
  12. Great build, and very cool for you to build it for your friends dad. Kudos to you...
  13. I'll be watching this with interest as I just ordered this kit last night (albeit a later reissue). Any thoughts yet as to what color combo you'll be painting?
  14. Yuri, An absolutely amazing build of one of my favorite trucks (I once owned a '78 Power Wagon). I'm always blown away by your work, and I find myself repeatedly revisiting this thread to admire this build in particular. Two questions: 1) What brand/color paint did you use? 2) Where did you source the wheels and tires? Keep up the great (and inspiring) work! -Ken
  15. Very nice build, and I really like the green. I have to pick this kit up. Did the Cragers come with it?
  16. Sharp looking build, and the color is great! Are those the kit wheels?
  17. Outstanding build of one of my favorite older kits. You've inspired me to pick up another one (or two...). Your paint job is awesome!
  18. Beautiful build! There's nothing like a custom model that's so well done it looks like the factory built it that way.
  19. There's nothing like learning by doing, and what you've done so far looks great. I'll be following this.
  20. Bruce, I love your work. Your clean building style and attention to detail really make your models stand out. Your '60 Chevy pickup blew me away from the first time I saw the WIP pics, and have inspired me to try and emulate your build as an upcoming project. I've saved a few pics of it along with some others for general modeling inspiration. Keep up the great work! -Ken
  21. Apologies for going off-thread, but ACE, that was really well-put. Just the other day I saw (in the "Under Glass" section) the Monogram "'66 Malibu Street Rat". That instantly brought back fond memories of building models back in my high school days. It was my favorite kit back then, and I built a few of them, along with the '69 Z/28 here. Looking forward to seeing how this rebuild turns out!
  22. I'm a '70's custom van guy at heart, so I'm definitely loving this! Beautifully done. Love all of the details.
  23. Awesome in every regard. I too thought I was looking at the real thing...
  24. Sweet build! Makes me want to pick up this kit.
  25. Beautiful! I love it all - the build, weathering, diorama. Inspiring...
