It is the Scania V8 motor I believe and the air intakek and tans has Scania marked on it the starter is on the right side and a canister on the left side if looking from the rear to the front of the motor
Iam building the Scanis 144 Topline from Italeri kit number 712 . The question I have is what are the canister and rectangular parts next to the fuel injection pump on the motor . Is one an air compressor?
I am asking this for the European truck builders on here. This rig is almost finished with this rig for a show in August. Any help will be greatful.
I dont know if I can do this or not but here goes. I recieved my kit of the Moebius Lonestar , and after looking it over and not starting on it , Ihave to say this is the best looking truck kit going. I have also followed Dave Metzner's build and follow up notes which is a good thing. If there was ever a truck kit deserveing of " Kit of the Year " this kit well deserves it . Thank you Dave Metzner , Art Anderson and Mebius for a great kit of a new truck . I think other truck builders and my self hope to see other new truck kits come from you in the future.
While out and about getting parts for a hot water heater and low and behold I drovoe past Bumble Bee parked ona car lot. Yes it is a factory built car It is a 2010 Camaro and right now sticker on it is $32,000.00 pics will come as soon as I down load them .
I am currently building the Italeri Scania 144 Topline and want to deatil the motor . So far every thing is going well , but what I need to know is where the air compressor is located to supply air to the tanks also what is the item located on the lower left side of the engine block . Is it the starter or is that on the right side . any help will be grateful.
Grain the doors onthe cab both open and need a bit of work to get them to fit right , the sleeper is detailed inside as well I most times leave the roof unglued to show off the sleeper interier. Also there are no holes in the cab roof for the ac so as you said you wanted to leave it off.
