I broke down and bought it and compared it to a 45 year old kit of the same what I found was they deleted the magsand added chrome steelies and moon disks also deleted was the 6 carbs even though the log manifold was still included Iam building the 45 year old one and now debating with my self to use the new white wall tyres then use the new one as an factory build Imay get anouther just for the new tyres and use then on both old kits as street rods

Here is a better pic of the BeverlyHillbies truck was painted with Flatblack and Gray Duplicolor primers and weatheres with model railroad chalks and all protected with a flat clear for artist chalks the seat was painted with model master leather Granies chair was done with model masters light flat gray with a wash of flat black the bead was painted with model masters flat wood with a wash of vallieo chocolate brown after all was dry a wash of light gray and weathered with dust the hood was tied down with crohette thread as was the barrels

This was buillt when the AC Macks was isssued it is all kit with the cab being scracth builtl from an artical in a long gone model made the kit interier parts was used and was painted with Pactra Flat military green the engine was detailed using pics from the book Mack Bulldogsand it was my first attempt at weathering

Made from the original relace of the Dragula I correceted the frame added a radiator and scratch built the top for it the body can be added and or removed candle lamps was added to the head lights and was all painted with Duplicolor Gold and war hammer royal purple for the interier

what engine is in the Italri Pete 377 a Cummumins or the dreaded C word and what close model paint would be the correct color for it

Looks good and like the one we had where I used to work only it didnthave a state licence plate on it

I agree we should be allowed to use the engine and unfortunitly most companies now have out sorced thier products to the chineese which takes jobs from the US . I dont know if any rember the out cry when DOD wanted royalites to all military kits made and started demands on the model companies Congress stepped in and said they couldnt collect royalties cause the tax payer owned themas we all paid for what equipment the military uses

Withi every thing going on on my work bench I decided to start anouther project. I need info ona trialer used to carry CO2 and Liquid Nitrogen

After a few set backs and redoing my comp after McAfee wiped out every thing from it and my operating system last week after a hidden update world wide I am now looking over 15 in proces s builds and decideing what to finish in the next few months .I hope if any one here uses McAFEE didnt suffer the same date my comp did last tuesday

I gained my handel in 1968 in Nam ran convoys alot and was known as Road Warrior and got out of the Army and went to work for Uncle Sam and drove trucks and kept my handle and got my FCC licence when they was required KCI 9189 today I use a 40 channel with 3 weather channels on it.also have two 8 tracks one with my home sterio and a car mounted with isnt used Road Warrior done and gone checking the seat covers out

After looking up this kit on the ehobbies site and being in pounds I converted it out to around $62.00 for it
