Toyota got bronze medal! Im pretty happy with it, since its my very first model car contest medal ever and also becouse there was guys like Juha Airio and Eero Kumanto, and many other talented modelers.. How i could beat them in model contest LOL

Hi guys! I just got this decal and photoetch nightmare finished.. Had some dust problems with clear coating, but i got good enough results to fix them. I used aftermarket decals to make this fictional race car on A group, so John Player Special theme for this car is from my head, there is not 1:1 Volvo around there just like this. Also i used detailing set for this, what is selled separately. and i have already plans for 4 Volvos to build, all fictional race cars again.. But less talk and more photos.. Small update, i got those last decals placed and shoot some clear coat, had bit battle with dust problems, but i will try to fix them and hopefully will get finished this racer soon

Hello, here is my newest build, its Toyota TE27 Levin from Fujimi kit.. I did spent week to build this since i wanted to finish it fast becouse there is model contest soon on next week, and i wanted to build something new to show up there. Its my second model show so far in my life time so im bit exited.. Not a big show, but still one to go. Ok about built and stuff i did for this.. Lowered chassis from front to get that stance look good. Aftermarket 13" ATS wheels with tires from this Fujimi kit. Interior got door handles etc, also there are some speakers and nice flag in back. Colors Olive drab and matt black with some Molotow touches, and also painted some wood treatment for steering wheel. Color is Tamiya TS Forest green, i guess it was for some Aston Martin, but suits well for about any car. Also made Japanese lincence plates to fit on US-size license plate frames Not muct time to make more on week but these i made to build this puppy. After all i had much fun while doing this, and i could build another with more time and maybe more details.. but here are the pictures.. Enjoy Cheers

It was time for test fit... It gets tight fitment for grille after i shoot clear coat for body, but i hope it sits well after doing that.. I like that look..

Thank you guys.. I love JPS livery look in about any race car.. I did not find any 1:1 examples of Volvo 240 in this theme, but i wanted to make this just as fictional race car.. So desing of this JPS look for Volvo is made by me.. Just some nice aftermarket decals here and there..

Very nice! I would love to do Jack Daniel`s delivery van, but im stuck with finding good decals...

It does not actually need any base coats.. I have used it straight over plastic, bu also over about any colored paint i have used in my builds.. Just avoid handling of that part for couple days, or better, dont ever touch Molotowed part spot again..
