  1. I thought I would post some of my open wheel stuff. This is a box stock (with plug wires) build of the re-release Eagle. I have since found and installed the missing velocity stack. '
  2. Thanks but the flares, air dam and rear spoiler were all kit options to turn the stock little Sunbeam into a terror for the track. It is an AMT 2 n 1.
  3. Nice work on the weathering. That is one straight old rusted truck!!! A scottbrite pad and a buffer and you might have it looking brand new...
  4. This the AMT Sunbeam Tiger (sometimes known as a Cobra killer) This car was super small with a small block Ford 260. My version has a 347 stroker and burns up the race course . The kit is box stock with some of the kit customizing options used, some parts for the engine from the parts box and a set of racing wheels from an MPC 69 Mustang kit. The color is school bus yellow that I got from work and airbrushed. '
  5. Dave, no I haven't posted the Tiger yet. If you want I can post it next time.
  6. This is a Testers rebox kit. I don't remember the actual maker. The car is one my all time favorite IMSA cars and unfortunately is curbside.
  7. This is my take on the Revell Shelby 427. Most chrome was stripped and redone with Alclad the wheels are Alclad Magnesium.
  8. Bee - A - U - tiful job. Very nice detail and it's so crisp too. Nice work.
  9. Box stock with tire decals and plug wires.
  10. I used an AMT Fairlane kit and some decals from eBay. The wheels are aftermarket. This was my first shot at making a Stockcar from a street car kit.
  11. Not much to say about this one. Pretty much a true AMT original box stock build with the additon of Yesterday's Decals.
  12. This is based off the newly re-released Fire Fighter kit and using Slixx decals. The yellow is MM lacquer, the red is D-C lacquer and the rest is decal. The hood scoop is after market.
  13. Thank you for all the support. I have about 7 drag cars that I can post. I have three in the WIP stage right now. Sox and Martins 71 'cuda, Grumpy's 73 Vega, and a Beretta that is going to be a JEGS sponsered car to go with my Summit Firebird. The donor kit for the body was the MPC Z28 without T Tops. I had to remove the factory hood scoop and the side vents and then enlarge the wheel wells. The chassis didn't take a lot to make it fit. The wheel base was spot on so that made it pretty easy. Here are some pictures.
  14. This is another kit bash of mine. MPC's 79 Camaro and Revell's Prostock Firebird. Slixx decals. Custom mixed red paint airbrushed. Mitch
  15. Wow. Thanks for the nice comments Guys. What is the best way to add pictures here at MCM? I am lovin' the Fairlane in your avitar 99GT.
  16. This a bash of the Revell 1999 Mustang Cobra and the Monogram 1984 Thunderbird Prostock. Home resin casted wheels and parts box decals.
  17. Thanks guys. We are going racing this weekend in Ark City Kansas during the Last Run and Nostalgia Drags. I will have some pictures of the cars in in action and some of the cars at the show. Here are some pictures of our cars. This Biscayne in action (thats me driving) We just got the Pinto and will be working the kinks out this weekend. The Comet is a ground up rebuild. Mitch
