  1. Here is a small update. Had to rework the rear end panels. plus build up a gas cap trim ring panel ridge area.
  2. Thanks Man! As for the kit's interior, some parts are somewhat accurate yes I agree, but I'm going for the full accurate impression myself. I do have more interior pieces made and doing over laps of panels with attach panel pieces as well. The upper rear panel pads are way to long. But don't get me wrong, I'm using the kit pieces for mock ups. I want to make the new door panel pieces out of rubber vinyl and apply it to the new door pieces with maybe the pocket mad pouch opening able.
  3. I hope you all like the photos, sorry for all stuff in the hour. Updating is caught up. Any comments toward the project is welcome.
  4. Okay let me see if this works, I'm uploading only certain photos.
  5. Can anyone see the photo's? I can't seem to see them. I know I got a lot of updating to do. I'm not using photobucket either.
  6. I got a lot done on this project, got the floor pan done, got the new rear frame rails done to, been working on the interior and the shell now. I been working on the rear window lip where the glass goes in at. I'm also in the process of making correct door panels, and correct sides for both the pass and driver side. I'm also working on the rear package tray too. Will post photos asap. Got a lot of them to go through before posting a few.
  7. I use locktite superglue myself, good stuff. I was looking at the frame, I can't even tell where you added to it man. Good job!
  8. U'm is someone in your family maybe trying to tell you something? I myself use AdBlocker Plus.
  9. It just dawn on me, I'm not sure what his handle is on here, but I remember him being a good model builder, has anyone seen Ira? I lost track of his builds on here.
  10. Hi Chris, LOL they always told me I was insane.. I didn't believe them. Ask me any question about the build anytime you want. For Question 1, I'm still on the fence with metal or fiber glass yet. I know I'm building the frames.. that will be metal welded to gather to hold the whole panels and interior in line. For the shell, engine bay, hood, doors, trunk lid. Either Fiberglass or Metal on those parts. For the shell if I go Fiberglass route I'll make a wire frame and Fiberglass coat it that way. How I'm going to attach the shell to the frame, I'm thinking metal screws at this minute or Maybe Pop Rivets but that could crack the fiberglass though. As for the small parts like Grill and Interior and what not will be made or of plastic and other stuff. Question 2, Well i been working at cleaning and welding here and there on them.. But I do have to reclean them back up though.. I don't think cleaning them will be to hard though. But when I get into final assembly on the frame and bolting things to gather then it could or might be harder then what it is at this stage in the build. But I think if I keep clean and do like the factory did on the real cars I should be available to do it though and bond everything to gather probably with small screws.
  11. Now here is comparison to give you all an idea just to got big this scale really is compared to my foot I hope you all like this small update, any feedback about the project is welcome.
  12. If it's metal or diecast, I would the automotive self-etching primer for between metal and paint.
