Man, I'm loving the build so far! Each time I drop by the forum and I see Romell replyed in this thread I can't help but jump right this thread! LOL Romell, if people think your crazy, but you know something? if your crazy then I must be the bow of fruit loops right next to you then! Because we both got the same kind of bug for building models! LOL

Thanks for understanding man! I'm always looking out for my follow builders and if I see something that I think looks out of place I don't hold it back, I let the person aware LOL. I'm working on the Custom general, had a heck of a weekend with him, lost my knife first so I used a blade by hand on the one part to get ready for paint. Painted the part, left it set over night, found my knife today but some how misplace the part I had painted last night though LOL so I had to make a new one tonight. So now watch I'll find the other one. That's what I been working on, I have around 4 other projects also going on.

Well I would have comments sooner on this build of Romells, but I been alittle busy myself working on my own project. Romell, the build is looking beautiful man so far, keep up the good work on it. Also I would like to apologize for what I said yesterday evening about the fan unit. I just haven't seen one like that one is all and there for it didn't look right to me due to all the other ones I have ever seen on cars looked different. I hope you accept my apologizes. I'm keeping on eye on this thread as I can only picture how this master piece will look when it's finish.

I can answer this, yes you can apply it just like you would flocking. When I use the stuff I mostly tape off the area and use elmers spray glue and then dump the powder in the area and move it around. With the powder, if you miss a spot or a spot doesn't have aenough coverage on it you can use future shine and apply a dot to that area and then just dump more powder in that area and wam you wouldn't know the differents. Now you couldn't do that with flocking as it would get lumpy real fast. I switch over some what from using flocking to using powder as the powder is way better and easier to handle.

Really? I haven't seen one like that before, that is why I said what I did for. All the fans I have ever seen didn't look nothing like that. That fan kinda reminded of one of those fans that they have in machines (I for get the machines it is in) but they have a wire like surround around them and round wire bend into "O" where the screw going through. They have a H bracket the fan and motor sets on/fastens/build into. You guys know the type I'm talking about probably. that is what this fan reminds me of. I also agree he should have used two fans and not one

The build looks beautiful , but that fan part, I have to be honest here man, I'm having a hard time looking at that as looking realistic man. To me it just doesn't look right there with all the other very beautiful stuff you have done bro on your build.
-
Dang it, he did it again, I blinked and he posted something! LOL Romell, man, bro, that so far looks down right beautiful man. I love your attention to detail. But if you don't mind me asking, how much did the harness set you back?
-
Oh I'm tune in also and waiting for updates as well. I won't miss this if I can help it bro.

Boy, Romell, reading that, was he having a bad day or something? I hope he doesn't talk to his clints that way all the time. I know when someone emails me about something I always try to get back to them asap and always in a good manner also to help them out. Your right that is no way to talk to someone that just bought stuff from you and are wondering the status of there stuff is all. It really makes you wondering about them. Half the stuff you do, I don't have to ask you how you do it, I can figure it out just by looking at the photos LOL. But as you know if I have a question that I can't figure out I will ask you though. I'm keeping my eye on this build thread though as I like the work I see going on
-
Yea, with that table, it makes it look like the car is on water. LOL
-
Well to me it looks like you driven him to hard or fast, he's all in pieces. LOL Okay, serous, the build is looking beautiful man and he's starting go take shape now.
-
Dang, even I love that color combo! Your right, the wine color sure did make that color pop out very nice I might add. I can't wait to see this finish results of this build. Keep up the good work bro!

-
Dang Romell! I swear if I blink your going to move fast LOL. I didn't check out the board yesterday and here you go and post even more photos of the find build of yours LOL. Dang the details are beautiful man. Keep the photos coming. BTW, you ask where I was at? LOL, well I been on paypal forums doing research and reading around the web about them and there new "Hold Policy" and all there old tricks. And in return I switch places to another place for on ebay. That's where I been at for the last week sense I haven't been on here as you can tell. LOL
-
Dang Romell, I go away for almost a week and come back to see some updates. Man your doing one fine job on that hot rod bro, keep up the good work and also detailing on that thing. I'll be keeping an eye on this thread more.

Dang Romell, your doing one heck of a job on that build of yours. I seen it over on the other site and been watching for more updates on. I don't post over there for afew reason's which I won't say. But sense I know now that this is the other site you mention you was posting on well I will reply on here though. Where did you get the linkages for on the tranny?
-
I also have a project in the works, the same kind of model like you are doing. But the way I'm going to build mine is a long and other way not like what some people would do . When I start on that I'll post it up in it's own thread. I'll be watching this thread though.

primer for model master?
MoparWoman Jamie replied to geckoman1220's topic in Tips, Tricks, and Tutorials
I mostly use Color Place paint myself. I was using Model Master paint on the Custom General Lee model I'm working on and that paint didn't work to well. -
Dang dude, I like your build so far. Keep it up
-
Well that is one sure way to get red of them there credit cards
