  1. I love this build already! keep the updates coming if you would please.
  2. Romell, stop copying my ideas! LOL Your door vents are the same thing I'm did on the General Lee model that I'm building! Now this is down right scary, we both are thinking alike on detail.. but tell me, does yours open and closes? mine does. Good work so far man.
  3. Dude, I'm loving this build of yours! keep the progress updates coming please!
  4. Okay, here is another project of mine(been in the works for alittle time now, just now sharing it), each project is being fully detailed. This '71 Charger is going to look like it set out in a field for a long time and have dents and also slight jump damage to it . The driver side door will be open-able. The interior will be weathered and will have a headliner in it. Just like the '41 Woody project, this project will have more then just one skill mix in on the build process LOL
  5. Hi you all, well here is another project I like to share with you all as I know some of you like the older cars from way back in the day. Now this project is going to be a real fun one as I have a big plan for the build of this one. Now, I don't want to let the cat out of the bag just yet, but I will say this.. On this project not all of the kit will be being used . I am going to fabercated alot and yet keep it looking old school at the same time . I am going to be combining two of my skills togother for on this one maybe even 3 . But this build might take alittle while for me to do with the work that I want to do on it though. I might be changing out the tires for more looking ones as well. But this build will be having some real crazy detail work going into it . I'm going to be using my best modeling skills and also maybe one or 2 or two other non modeling skills also on it  (I know at least 1 non model skill will be used on it LOL ) . This is just to give you the idea of what kind of kit I am starting with, but I will not be using 1/3 of it though at least.
  6. You know Romell, if I didn't know you, I would believe that! LOL. I mean the way you can build a model, it wouldn't put it past me that you could maybe build a shrink ray device LOL
  7. Man, I love to tackle those two projects, those kind of things are right up my alley. I like to take something that alot of people wouldn't want to even tackle because of the looks of it and then rebuild it and make it better then ever and then repost a before and after photo and leave the folks eat there hearts LOL out as what the model transform into With afew days of work that A-Team van would be back in shape easy. Romell, I'm shock at you bro, look at the work you did/ doing on your recent build and then to say what you did! LOL, man I thought something like that would be a walk in the park for you! LOL Keep the progress photos coming please as I'll be watching.
  8. Next's model? heck knowing Romell, he can probably pull it off on this one LOL
  9. I don't use original bare metal foil.. I make my own version. At least with my version the color is not an issue at all. LOL
  10. No problem bro, I know a telent and good model building when I run into one LOL. I knew it just by watching that truck build you did that you knew what you was doing and that you was man like me when it came down to building models LOL. Your also welcome for my compliments also. I guess we're two crazy and insane model builders that loves detail on a model car? LOL. You must be my long lost brother from another mother! LOL. I guess your the West coast brother and I'm the Easy cost brother? . Yep I can also see the resemblance also..
  11. LOL You don't know Romell do you? LOL I seen some of his work before online and right off the bat with out a dubt I fell in love with his skills and what all he can do with or on a model! I would love to see some of his past model work myself. The guy has imspired me to up my skills or to brushin up on afew after seeing his lovely work. All the time I thought I was the only one that had a thing for detail on a model car like that LOL. After seeing or meeting Romell afew years back on another forum and see what he can do, I no longer left alone LOL but feel better that there is someone else out there that has passion for building and detailing a model car that is off the charts LOL. Romell, bro, are you sure your not my long lost brother? LOL

  13. Dude, I love your color combo man. That is going to be one sweet model when finish.
  14. Man, your doing one heck of a fine job there. I like the detail so far, keep up the good work.
  15. Heres an idea, phone wire, strip it down and glue the just a tiny part of the round boot of the casing to the cab as mounting bases. They insert the phone wire in with alittle to lock the stuff in place. Then paint the wire and booting chrome or silver To make the mirrors move able, just cut part of the round casing and use that with the wire running through it and glue flat sheet plastic to the round casing. Ta da, you have adjustable move able mirrors . Just don't get glue on the wire from the plastic casing. LOL
  16. I'm in a daze with all of his work yet. Right now I'm kinda wordless. LOL
  17. Hi you all, I wanted to share one of my many build projects that I have going on right now. This project is a custom build in progress of two trucks chopped and converted over and then retooled to look like a Ford Ranger. I'm building this for a friend of mine.. He had a Ford Ranger about 3 years ago that this model is being built to look something but at the time he wanted or had ideas of lifting the truck up alittle. Well things happen and he got red of the truck but he always wondering what it would have looked like if he had done the build to it. Well that is where this model comes into play at. It's a mix up a lifted truck and a off road truck as well. I have been working on this truck for well sense around late part of 08. I mean everything on it is custom built or needs to be rebuilt, but about a month ago, I had the build setting up on a self in the house for alittle while. Well I decided to clean house so I stuck the build that was in the box down on the floor by the desk. Well a spray can that I had up on the self fell off of it and landed right on the roof LOL of the truck.. yea I know what are the odds of that happening LOL.. maybe 1 out of 10 I think. But snese I was going to rebuild the interior part and make things work on board like working turn signals and what not, This gives me the perfect chance at correcting some of the stuff inside the interior. I also make custom rims and tires like my friend real truck had on it at the time to! That is just afew photos, but everything you see in the photos is what I built though almost. The truck cabs was a chevy Silverado, and a chevy lighting that I chop both of to make into a bigger scale Ranger model for my friend. I am also paling when finish use his real ranger touch up paint to paint this truck in as well
  18. No problem man, I thought it would be of help to you maybe. I had the cameras that was over a 100.00 before and they just didn't last long around me, the cheap ones like in the link lasted longer then the others did.
  19. After seeing what you said and mention, I did alittle research work to maybe help you out here. http://www.walmart.com/browse/College-2010/College-Electronics/College-Digital-Cameras/_/N-95k4Zapsy?ic=48_0&path=0%3A3944%3A133277%3A1009180&ref=125865.427108+500000.500002
  20. I think it more then the word "good" can even explain! More then beautiful also! I love it man!
  21. You all seen afew photos of my builds on here, the photos was taken by a Sanyo Camera model VPC-E870 that I bought last winter for 60 some dollars online at wal-mart. It's the flat face silver color one. It has afew settings for taking photos and also a video cam corder and a audio recorder also all built into it but each as to be set on there own setting though. I think the camera is a good camera and is good enough for me to take photos of my model builds.Down side is you will have to fork over around $12.00 extra for a memory card for in one.
  22. I agree with Romell on this issue, that set up he suggested is also the kind I use and also make.He is right about it working very very nice.. as it does.
  23. Dang Remoll, or ah Romell LOL. I just got back online this morning after being off line for afew days thanks to a broadband moden blowing up on me the other night. I must say I like your attention to detail man, that scale gas tank looks like the real thing in the trunk area of the model. If you would have taken a close up and I mean close up I would have thought that it was real man. Your detail on that is right on. first thing i did was when I got back online this morning was come stright to the forum to check your thread out man to see if you had posted any updates which you had. Keep up the good work bud!
  24. Now... there is something you don't see every day. Looking good man.
  25. Personally, I don't see anything wrong with the body at all.
