Hello......thank you all so much for your kind comments.......I did some work on the trailer.......put on the diamond plate,painted alclad.......the "Dyno" read-out sign is on......the rear trailer door/ramp and hydraulics are on.......rear wheel "Dyno" tumblers installed........I will put on the drag strip tomorrow and assemble the front wheel "Dyno" locks and do some light weathering and a few more details......thanks for looking.

Niko.......the asphalt is a 1/4 inch 12x14 piece of black light plastic foam. ...........I spray painted it black........then I taped off a center lane and airbrushed it white.......then I gave the whole piece a heavy wash.......the foam cost about 3 dollars at the local model train store.........and is pre-cut......i used the whole piece.......thanks

Hello......thank you all for your kind comments.......I scratch built a Christmas Tree........the sleeper,cab,hood and trailer are all clear coated.......I assembled the Dyno read-out sign......and the rear trailer door is finished.......I scratch built a Freightliner grill and I will alclad that tonight......thanks for looking

Jim......thank you for your observation about the faded black around the flames..........you beat me to the punch........I was going to mention that I tapped off the flames and airbrushed the faded black area around the flames with the same color as the truck in my next post........so that everything blends together.............I do this method when I have custom decals.........I have a 1/8 inch black border around every decal that goes over the black body........so that I can do this method.......thanks.

Hello......thank you all for the kind comments and for following this build......I am back at work on this project......my good friend Dave Ryberg aka "Goat Guy" here on the forum did all the art work for this project.........and my good buddy Art laski printed out the decals for me.......and another good friend Bob aka "Peg leg Bob" provided the vinyl "Geico Motorcycles" stickers that go on the Dyno tower......thanks guys for all your great work........I got all the decals applied and the first coat of clear......I will wet sand everything and give it one more coat of clear.......thanks for looking
