  3. Hello.....thank you all very much for the kind comments.......I did some more work on the engine.......I will finish up the plumbing and trans linkage tonight........thanks for looking.

Hello......thank you all for the kind comments.......I painted the chassis Dupont Jarrett red and assembled the rear axle .......I used "Pro Tech" nut and bolt ends to dress it up.......I assembled the wheels......fronts painted alclad and the rears are painted "Odds and End`s" pewter with a mist of chrome alclad....... and used "Pro Tech" valve stems........I painted the engine block Dupont Jarrettt red and assembled the pulleys.......blower is attached to the manifold and is painted alclad......I will finish plumbing the blower and engine tonight ........thanks for looking.
  7. Dr. ........just a little thought for your theater.........I bought a miniature smoke stack from the model train shop......and hooked it up to a 6 volt battery........it smokes really good ......I use it for my Don Garlit`s : "Explosion " diorama.

Hello......thank you all for your kind comments......I did some work on the Blower........scratch built injector and fittings.......I used "Pro Tech" nut and bolt ends and throttle linkage ........painted Alclad stainless steel with a light wash.......also made a fuel pump and scratch built fittings......I used "Pro Tech" nut and bolt ends,throttle linkage, t`fitting and braided line........I still need to add some details to the blower and finish the plumbing on the fuel pump.......thanks for looking,

  10. Hello......thank you all for your kind comments.......using "Pro Tech" junction boxes and fuel line ...... I painted and plumbed them.......I made a fuel pump and a USA-1 belt shroud like the one on the 1:1 car........using insulation wire.......not perfect but, good enough for the girls I go with.......thanks for looking.

Jim......thank you for your concern about the truck........while I am waiting for the decals to be finished .......I started this project........hope to have the decals soon........thanks Brad......the aluminum sheets I use.........I get from the local train store......they are really thin aluminum 4x8 sheets that you can cut with scissors and file really easy........ cost is cheap too........thanks.

  13. Darryl........always a treat to see your builds.......but,I really love your junkers and Dioramas.......not that you don`t build AWESOME drag cars......it`s just that not many of us can`t build junkers and Dioramas like you do. .......can`t wait to see your next one.

Hello.....thank you all for your kind comments.......my good friend Art Laski gave me a spare drag engine with a couple of Chevy valve covers for this build......thanks Art..........I combined parts from his engine with the Corvette big block engine that I had.......I made a new injector.......and used "Pro Tech" pulleys........I made some brackets for the blower and made a front pulley plate........I drilled out the valve cover cap and put it further up front like the 1:1 car.......I re-shaped and drilled the headers......I noticed on my pictures a few things are out of scale......I will fix that.......thats the good thing about pictures ......it magnifies things ......so you can make changes if needed.......thanks for looking.
