Hello......I would like to start by saying I am sorry for all the trouble I started today....... and all the mistakes that were pointed out on this build.........I should have taken like a man instead of a little school girl........I apologize .......I hope we can put this all behind us?......anyway I got primer and putty on the body......I will sand the body tomorrow and probably put a little more putty and another coat of primer........then I will lay down the base coat.......thank`s for looking.

Ok........I came off strong with my reply........ and I apologize........First off....... I am not a professional model builder.......I am sorry if I offended anyone.......in many way`s I am like a little kid.......I do like positive comment`s.......it makes me feel like fellow modelers like my work......I do make a lot of my own stuff and I know in the back of my mind that it is not correct.......and I know I will never be as good as any of the big name modelers...... but,it works for me.........and when I do get negative comment`s......I guess I don`t know how to handle it?.......a few people have suggested that I am some kind of model expert........and I will say on record......that I am not.......I just wish that I knew more about technical things.......but,I am like a loaded missile out of control wanting to build ,build,build,.......I have thousands of models not yet built........I am in a fantasy land just building away........so please ,if you will except my apology .......I would be most thankful.

Harry.......thank`s for the question......I would have to say the after market parts are mostly " Pro Tech " : braided line , seat belt harness, detailing wire and nut and bolt ends is around $20.00 buck`s.........I do buy "Pro Tech" in bulk so I gave a ball park figure..........I scratch build alot of my stuff or modify thing`s.........paint and material .......I really don`t know...... cause I have a lot of paint and just odd`s and end`s everywhere for building stuff.....so this model has about $40.00 into it.........but,in reality......the reason I posted........ "This is a non- accurate Nascar" is because ,.......this model means nothing to me.......I was a gift from my mother......... that she found at a garage sale......I actually built it for her......I mean ,sure I thank my mom for thinking of me but,it is not what I really like to build..........now as for all the bullies ......I have said it before and I will say it again......." It is Mind over Matter "........" I Don`t Mind and you Don`t Matter"......this is my model and I will build it the way I want!.......I don`t care if it is accurate or not.......for my friends that don`t care about technical thing`s ......thank you for your kind comments..... I know I don`t answer each kind comment.....but,please know that I thank you so very much........it makes all the bullies diss-appear....,,,,,

Hello......I finished wiring and plumbing the engine with "Pro Tech" detailing wire and braided and fuel line..........I will primmer the body tomorrow......thank`s for looking.

Hello......engine is mostly built and installed into the chassis.......alot of parts were missing to the engine so I scratch built a few parts...... wired and plumbed with "Pro Tech" parts......trans. linkage is scratch built.......drive- shaft and scratch built cover installed.......headers painted alclad and weathered with Tamiya clear red, blue and yellow.......I will finish up the top half of the engine plumbing tomorrow.......thank`s for looking.

Hello.......finished up my seat with a "Pro Tech" 5 point seat belt harness.......and installed in the chassis.......dash board installed.......rest of the roll cage installed.......worked a little more around the furel tank area......I need to make a few more details for the cock pit area......and I will work on the engine today.......thank`s for looking.

Mike....... sorry that I don`t know the size thickness of the styrene I used for the flares......I threw away the package it came in......but,it is the same thickens of the body itself.......thank`s. thank`s "All" for the kind comment`s.

Hello......front suspension is done........scratch built shock`s. and hub`s......brake lines hooked -up........scratch built oil tank and hooked-up......modified radiator and fan......almost ready to start on the engine.......thank`s for looking.

Hello........I started on the rear suspension.........modified rear axle scratch built pulleys and wheel hubs....... hooked-up brake lines........rear end almost finished ......also started on the front suspension .......also modified......scartch built rear wheel- well enforcement`s .........modified fuel tank ......scarth built fuel tank bracket........I will finsh up the front suspension tomorrow........thank`s for looking.

Hello......chassis is painted H.O.K. white with clear coat.......part of the roll cage is installed ..........I used medical tape for the padding on the roll bar and hand painted acrylic flat black......wheels have been painted alclad and tires weathered.......modified dash and wired.......scratch built seat.....I need to install 'Pro Tech" 5 point seat belt harness......thank`s for looking.

Hello.......I am just about finished with the Mock-Up........added fender flares........modified Dale Earnhardt chassis and roll bar to fit Bobby Allison Matador.......filled in side vents.....modified front grill.......thank`s for looking.

Exactly my thought`s.......but hey, I just like to build models.......I think I am the one who started this hole mess......I apologize .......my thought was to share my work that I was really proud of.......... and to help as many folk`s as possible........so I posted in diffirent spots......and to my surprise .......I got a lot of great response.........but, I must have ruffled to many feathers........I guess if you want to stay on this forum .......you must obey the rules........or nobody will ever build models .......they will be to busy worried about authority.......sorry it wont happen again........I`ll take a step backwards.
