Hello.......some of you might know me as being crazy?.......but,this will be my first attempt at a Nascar build........I am always picking up kits for extra parts........this AMT Bobby Allison Matador kit is complete.......but,I am going to use some parts from the Earnhart kits.......to up date the Matador my way........the Matador will have the same paint scheme.......I like to build kits for myself...... in the end it may not be correct or accurate but.......it will be the way I like it........when I bought the Allison Matador the hood was glued to the body.......I opened up the hood and trunk and doors.......the doors are opened because I want to show detail into the interior.......I told you I was crazy .......hope you follow along .......I think I have some good ideas.

Scott......I have been following this build since you started.........I am so impressed by your skills.......you have shown us some fantastic work........I admire the time you take to make things right.........this build you are doing will be one of those models that will be........ what they call "Over the Top".........thank you for sharing this great build.

Hello......This project was my first attempt at building a Pro Mod.......it is a make believe car......I have never seen a Jag Pro Mod......so I thought I would build one.......alot of stuff may not be correct but,this is what I came up with......I would like to thank Mr. Paul Rowe for the inspiration to build this Pro Mod and also his donation of a complete resin Pro mod engine and all his reference pictures......also thank`s to Mr. Clay Kemp for his inspiration to build this Pro Mod and his reference pictures........also last but not least Charlie with "Pro Tech" for his fine products: braided line.plug wires,fuel line,detailing wire,gauges,nut`s and bolts,body fasteners and more.......... Body was made using 2 Entex bodies to make one 1/16 scale body ......I had to lengthen .widen and get the right height.......... H.O.K. kandy red over silver base. with Slixx mini flakes......tear away paint job: all graphics airbrushed and hand painted.......H.O.K. silver,black airbrushed panels........rivets drilled with black wash.......bare metal foil........chassis scratch built and many other parts .......to many to mention......wheelie bar and wing are removable for easy packing........if you would like to see how I made this build ......please look in the "On the Work Bench" section........thank`s for looking.

Wanye.........I have seen this car on the Slixx decals site.......I thought it was a great looking car and Slixx did a great job on the decals.......but,I have to say you are doing an AWESOME job on this build man......VERY VERY cool.

Hello......the glass is installed........door`s installed......nose grill installed.......battery access panel ,wheelie bar and wing are removable........I will attach the chutes and headlight`s tomorrow.......thank`s for looking.

Bob.......I drilled a small indentation into the body and used a acrylic black wash. to fill into the indentation......thank`s

Hello.......pipes are painted alclad and I airbrushed weathered blueing......using Tamiya clear blue ,red,orange,yellow and black ends......pipes are installed ..........wing is alclad and flat black and is installed.......wing is also removable for easy packing.......paint job is finished......I put the last clear coat on today......I will put the glass in the body in a couple of day`s after the paint cures........almost done........thank`s for looking.
