  1. I also thought the rims were pretty neat on this model, they came right out of the box............
  2. I love the way the spoiler looked on this model, it gives it a lot of character, I just wished it could have been a little lower but I did not have a lot of time to play with the ride height............
  3. This kit was a lot of fun to build, I just hope my nephew likes it, it will be going to Florida so I will have to be thinking on how I am going to be wrapping it up to make sure it gets there with all it's limbs intact!!!!!
  4. Looks like everything is back to normal, wouldn't like to miss this progress you are doing on this Magnum, great input and thanks for always sharing with us "Mortals"
  5. Did you check out Dave Lindsays Fotki site, there's a lot to see there............
  6. Hey Andy, how are you doing! I am in between going or working that day but if I decide to go I will be bringing a new VW beetle I put together for my nephew in Florida which I will be sending to him soon, hope to see you there also, are you bringing anything new other than your appetite?
  7. Very nice paint and choice of color, I have been trying to get this model, not because it's difficult but because I have been kinda training myself to stop buying more models but after seeing yours I will definetly be buying this one...........
  8. Hey Randy, glad you like it, I might be able to finish it for this weekend and probably put in on the table if I am able to make it to the meeting, thanks for the offer man...............
  9. I don't think I will be polishing or doing anything special with the paint, came out pretty nice just out of the can without any clear.........
  10. This is a little something he asked me as a gift for his girlfriend, he asked me to paint it Saphire Blue so I used Tamiya Mica Blue and hopefully it's a close match. Didn't have this model in my collection so I will be buying another one for myself, looks to be a pretty neat one to have.........
  11. Glad to have you back around theses parts Tom.................
  12. Engine with distributor and wiring done.................
  13. A little bit more progress on the 57 Chevy, fuel cell for the trunk and feed for gas.........
  14. Hey Bill, when you use the Alclad other than the chrome one, do you still use a black base first? I hear of some guys just shooting it straight on the part with no basecoat. As for me I used a black base after shooting aluminum on a part but it came out chromish like you see on this engines manifold, the valve covers are chrome...........
  15. WOW!!!!!!!!! That thing looks intimidating already, nice job on the wheels with their dark center, it contrasts very nicely with the orange color you chose
  16. Did you Alclad the bumpers? They look very good.........
  17. Very fine job as usual Randy, can't wait to see it in person. I am not even going to waste my time competing with you in the next meeting

Very nice and clean work man, nice choice of color and the one I would have picked for it......
  19. Love the engine details w/ the plumbing and wiring. Very cool
  20. Hey my friend, I actually did try that method but what I didn't like about it was that it didn't suck enough air into the bucket. I tried different size and strenght fans but was still getting the same results...........
  21. This is the set up I made about 3 years ago. Went out to Home Depot and bought an inductor which is an 8" fan inside of a duct. These are used when you have a big house and one of the rooms is not getting enough heat because is far away from the basement or heat source. It has the wiring for electrical and thermostat connections. I reduced the size from 8" to 4" using a reducing coupler also sold at Home Depot and installed a flexible dryer vent routed towards the outside of the house. It has been pretty useful to me.............
