After a little bit of body filler and a little bit of sanding. You can sort of see the difference compared to the rear bumper.

I think I might do that now. That hadn't popped into my head now that I look at it, it does a need a widebody.

I am going through a crisis, I cannot leave any of my models alone all of them are asking for a redo. The next victim is new Challenger. I do not have a camera at the moment but am planning to get a decent one by next week, if all goes to plan. Chopped off the roof, and added a Saleen Mustang Speedster cover, and front bumper grafted on, and a Corvette rear bumper splitter. Since I rebuilt the 70 Challenger, I had a 340 Six-Pack laying aroung so I said why not, and in it went. This picture was taken with my laptop Camera so it is not even close to good quality, but like I said good camera in the next couple of days.
  9. Thanks guys, top notch work, makes me regret not doing one earlier.
  10. Really nice color combination, the grey with the orange really pops.
  11. After a long day of looking all over the interwebs, I found some inspiration for my chopped truck. They were both completed models but were really annoying me ( dont ask me why). Sorry for the crappy quality of the pictures, hopefully will have a decent camera again once theses two are complete.
  12. Today out of pure boredom i chopped my 37 Ford pickup which was completely finished. I thought it would look badass next to my chopped Deuce I am working on. Now that it is chopped I am having second thoughts about it, did I cut it too much, did I cut it in the wrong place. When I was masking off the cut area it looked right, but now it looks really akward. I have an idea of what i want it to look like, but I have no inspiration. I am going for the rat rod look, with an extreme chop. Help me by posting some of your finished rat rodded trucks. Thanks
  13. I would not have believed you this was a model if I didn't follow the build. Amazing work!!!
  14. Really beautiful build. Love the color. I am getting inspired to bring back the layed out EXT, that has hit a rough patch.

    61 Impalas

The green one has the stock 409, with Moroso valve covers, my first attempt at wiring, and custom exhaust that comes out right in front of the rear wheels. I modified some Shelby Mustang seats by removing the headrests, and added a center console. It has a Rockford Fosgate system, including two amplifiers and three 12" subwoofers. The wheels are from a trashed Jada Toys Lamborghini, and parts box brakes. Removed all of the body molding, and is painted in Testors Mystic Emerald.

Finally got to finish these two. The green one is my favorite one i have built so far.
  19. Loving this look and I really don't understand why. What do you guys think. the chassis is from my other 49 Mercury that i am trying to finish up 100%.
  20. Love it. I have been of this style for a while. HELLAFLUSH
  21. The engine is from the 09 Challanger, that now has a 440 6 Pack out of the 70(?) Challanger
  22. Finally getting around to fixing this one, with a little change http://www.modelcars...l=&fromsearch=1
  23. new color
  24. This gave me the chance to smooth out the front and rear fenders of the car how they should be. I have seen comments in other projects saying that the front piece was molded differently than the real car and I did a little bit of research and noticed that they were correct, so I went ahead and made that change
  25. Yes this is a resto mod, I was planning on leaving it orange but i got some major dings on the body, so i went with a color change.
