  1. Quick update. Paint is Rustoleum Cobalt Blue Metallic.
  2. I got jacked. My cousin got kicked out of his house so he is living with us, and he had some "friends" over that consider themselves "graffiti artists," they went into my room and took almost all of my paint. It is so frustrating how I cant even be safe in my own house. Sorry if this is not on topic, but I just need to let out some aggression.
  3. Made some simple engine mounts and now I got it where I want.
  4. Just got laid off, so in between looking for a job and dealing with being sick, this is whats keeping my sanity. Quite a bit of cutting to make it fit.
  5. Very nice. I am rebuilding one right now. I love that color what is it, it looks like a stock Cadillac color.
  6. Thanks Doc. The paint is Model Master deep pearlescent purple.
  7. Model Masters paint, rims from the Revell 32 5 window, lake pipes from Revell 49 mercury, steering wheel from Revell 64 Impala.
  8. Almost done.
  9. Nice and rusty, just how I wanted it. Good job on the Merc.
  10. Just went to the hobby lobby. I am satisfied, way more models and material than michaels. Talked to one of the regional managers, he said that depending on the demand, they may expand their hobby section.
  11. More bodywork, been away because my dad had back surgery on tuesday. Luckily he is ok and doing much better than before the surgery. He is an hour away so I have little time to work on it. Almost dont with the rear hatch. Front hatch snapped on me but luckily I am able to fix it. I also decided to add some more detail in the front fascia.
  12. Here is a little update.
  13. It was completely done, but I ran out of shelving space, so I decided to move some cars around. Did not realize that this one was on the edge and it fell on me and burst into pieces. Instead of putting it back together how it was I have decided to customize it. This is the first time I have tried to make vents, there is going to be a big one covering the engine bay and two smaller ones in the front bumper. I also modified the exhaust outlets to somewhat resemble the Gemballa MIG-U1. (RIP Uwe Gemballa) Gonna take my time with this one.
  14. Really nice, good job. I see a few of these around town in different makes and models, but I think the Fords are the best looking.
  15. I want this kit so bad but when I find it I never have the money to get it. Now I want it even more. Good job on it.
  16. Man you built my dream car and in the color I want. I am planning on getting one and that is exactly what I would do to it. Wonderful job.
  17. I tried but failed miserably to get some clear pictures of the paint.
  18. Here is the buildup. http://www.modelcars...l=&fromsearch=1

Quick 2 day build, from a while back Sorry for the dark picture, but I am a night owl and I seem to get a whole lot more when it is dark out.
  21. Got a chance to work on it a little today. The carb and the air cleaner are from 64 Impala the valve cover from 68 Corvette. The seats are the extra ones from the 07 GT500, I cut of the headrests to give it a cleaner look
