I am looking for clear red paint, for tail lights. I have looked everywhere, I find it but they do not sell it, or it sends me to a link and they do not have it. I am getting annoyed of this happening. If anybody has a good website that sell transparent red and turnsignal amber, can you please give me the link. Thank you in advance.

I have this problem that I am never happy doing one thing at a time, I like to multi-task, sometimes its a good things and other times it backfires. I am already working on one model, and now I have another one taking up space on my bench/desk. I recently was at the local Michaels store, and glancing around I saw the Audi R8. I had to have it, luckily I had a 40% coupon so it wasnt that much. Yesterday I was at that store again, with my friend, while she was looking around, I went to check out the Testors paint, and I saw the candy apple red. I had to have that color, I also know that you have to paint it over a metallic base, and some lowriders paint gold under the red, so when we got home I layed down the base gold, and later sprayed the red, I am happy with it. Well here is the progress as of today.

A little update Here it is with the other countach i built a while back. It is a kit, i found in the corner of the hobby store before it closed down. I got it for $2.50, it has a motor and it works

Had some time today to work on the car. Got a rolling chassis, I know I could of done some more detailing, I am still thinking about doing it, but at a later time. I am loving the stance. I think I might go with the blue rims, or paint the white ones black. I am not liking the white rims, so they need to go.

WOW, amazing, I love the R8, and the GT3 is even better. Earlier I was thinking about modifying the R8 I just bought. Now I have some inspiration. Good job man. looking killer.

Had a little chance the other day to work on the chassis, not much done. Maybe this weekend I am going to work on it, getting out early saturday and might have a chance, but it is still up in the air. Found a color that was pretty darn close the original color. Happy with the progress, wish I had more time to work on it, but now I have another one taking up most of my free time; I will try to start a post on it soon. Any comment on how to make this car better will be greatly appreciated. Since we have moved recently, I have lost most of my paints, but I found this little can. I might spray the body since, the chassis is more glossy.

I have been having some problems with decals lately, and while at the store today, I saw the Testors Decal Set. Does anybody know how to use it properly. THANKS GUYS

heres a quick update, did a little bit of detail in the spare tire compartment, i have not really had a chance to get to work since i am going to have my nephew for a few weeks, and all of my time and energy is dedicated to him. Hope you find the paint dwc43, you will be very happy with it, like highway said the pictures dont really do it any justice

Weekend update Did some detail work to the engine and the trunk, I know it still needs some work, but I am working with what I got. as you can probably tell, I painted the valve covers the same color as the body

This is the second coat of paint. You can see the color shift better with these pictures, i just cant get the other colors to show on camera. These are the colors i decided to go with in the interior. Thanks Highway for the idea.
