  1. The ford just sold on Ebay,and the Autocar is coming along alittle at a time. Here's where the 362 is @
  2. I only build semi trucks now but I also would buy a few of each.
  3. I got a little done today, made a bracket for the air dryer and steps for the toolboxes. I also hinged the hood

  7. Now cut plastic strip to same length as the tube pieces and crazy glue to the edge of the strip.Then insert brass rod. With the hinge together glue the two ends onto one side of your project with plastic glue. And the center section to the other side. This is what you end up with a hinge that can easily come apart for painting. Hope this helps. Any questions just ask.
  8. Now score the aluminum tube with and x-acto knife to simulate a piano hinge, leave the brass rod in the tube when scoring.Then cut into three pieces.Use a small drill bit to clean out the tube after cutting. I leave the center section alittle larger.

  10. They're not PE hinges it's just aluminum tube and brass rod.

Here is my Autocar I have been working on.It's slow going but at least it's going.I wanted to have it done for NNL East but it never happen, I couldn't have gone even if it was finished.I stretched the frame added a lift axle,scratch built the front and rear bumpers reworked the grille and opened the doors plus lots of resin items.

  13. The sleeper is from the GMC General and the wheels are from AITM.
  14. They where in a box of parts I got off Ebay.
  15. It's finally done in time for a road trip. It has a scratchbuilt headache rack,reworked 5th wheel,resin lift axle and other resin parts fully wired and plumbed. Under hood will be shown at a later date, still need some finishing touches.I will post some outsides pics soon.
  16. I think this will be the next project after the 9000 is finally done. It will be a winch/plow truck with a bunch of resin goodies. Like a Mack V8,Mack 55,000 lb. rears, front drive axle and transfer case.Need to reinforce the frame from all the resin parts making it sag. I still have to do alot of research on winch trucks so we'll see how it goes.
  17. Built the 5th wheel today using to different model brands. Revell-Germany and Italeri combined together. Blue is Revell-Germany and black is Italeri.
  18. I decided to change out the chrome rear wheels for some two holes. I think it fits the look much better since it's a work horse.
