Hi all project pink Ferrari is back on the bench. After a very hard couple of months with my wee girl having major heart surgery. She's doing great now, so I'm finding 30 mins here and there to get back on with the modeling. I received the decals from diymirage thanks mate. So got the body decal on. Also started to assemble the engine. Painted the interior parts purple (yes pink body purple interior) will get pics up in 5 mins.

Thanks for everybody's prayers and thoughts. Anyway today was the first time I had been in the (man cave) for a long time. As u can see there's a pink Ferrari on the bench will get stuck into that this coming week and hopefully get a good update on it later.

Hi folks great news. Amber is home. She got home couple of days ago. Still got to get her feeding properly sorted. Thanks so much for everybody's thoughts and prayers. I feel like I have a huge family in the USA just from being a member on here. Thanks do much again

Hi guys and gals. Sorry for not keeping u guys posted. Amber is doing good. She's still in hospital but now it's our local hospital, as she just needs to sort her feeding out. There happy with everything else at the moment. She was in ICU for a total of 54 days. Me and my family are so greatful for everybody's support.

That's a sweet looking build I built one for my father in laws Xmas last year was a fun build hope u don't mind me posting a pic up here for u to see?

Hi all just another update. Amber still in intensive care still on a ventilator to assist her breathing hoping to come off that tomoro if all goes well. And she now is wide awake and moving about quite well. Still on alot of morphine tho. Will keep u guys posted.

Hi all Amber is making good progress she came off the life support on Saturday. And today (Wednesday) she is starting to move still heavily sedated with drugs but she's definatly moving forward just baby steps.x

Still no change still just a waiting game, waiting fir her heart to heal. Docs are saying she should make a full recovery just a case of waiting. Thanks again everybody x

Hi all just an update. Amber is out of surgery the whole case lasted 10 hours. Not out of the woods yet, surgery went well but she still on the machines. me and my wife will get in to see her soon. I will let her know Of all the Prayres sent. Thank you all. Prayer is such a powerful thing.xx

Hi guys Thanks for all the incouragment I acctually thought that doing a pink Ferrari I'd be met with hate mail form the purest. But everybody has been very nice. Got few more coats on Gona give it couple of days to dry then hit it with clear. Was unsure weather to keep the wheels chrome but after much though I've painted them black. Will get pics tomoro as it's 9.30 pm so a bit dark. Craig

Got some time today to glue body parts together and throw down some layers. Still needs a few more coats and tidy up. But thought I'd show u guys how bright it is. Wow its bright. everything Else is primed up ready for Paint.

I have 2 of them in my stash so my eyes r watching.

The vette and the hummer look ace. The rarri is in primer should have it in paint in a few days. Looking forward to adding paint.

next to hit the bench is this the revell Ferrari 348. Going to be for my daughters room. There's a little story to why it's a Ferrari. Me and my wife just had our first baby(little girl Amber) on the 23 feb. But while Amber was in my wides tummy I read to her every night. As a car nut (mostly exoctics) I read about ferraris like 5 days out of 7. And nearly everytime I would reed aboout them I would get a few good kicks. So I figured she must be like me a car nut. And as we are yet to decorate her room. We did not know the sex till she was born. We are about to decorate her room. And I thought what better for a shelf than some custom pink ferraris. Starting with this one. Colour is either going to be pink with black stripes or black with pink. And I got my good friend on here diymirage to make me some custom decals. Hi there not been doing much models for a few weeks now. Just had a lnew addition to the house. In the form of our little girl amber. This I finished just after the new year just got round to taking the pics today.(will get some outside pics asap) it's a tamiya R33 skyline. I found the kit real nice to build. I did a few upgrades to it. Lowered the height, added the nismo decals and the blue headlights. Other wise oob. Had a bit of an issue with the paint. Originally it was all gun metal grey. And looked ok. But after the second coat of clear. The paint went all blochy so I rubbed it down and went for gun metal grey with the matt black. I actually prefer it this way. Hope u like. Ps driver was from fujimi drivers and painted by my lovely wife. Thanks all. And a pic of our new arrival

Double post (stupid iPhone)

While the forum was on the blink I bit of thinking. And decided that this is going to be my last model for a few months. ;( I know. But it's for a good reason. Me and my wife are expecting and the babys due at the end of feburary. So not long. And I have a LOAD of stuff that I need to do. So after this one I will be clearing my hobby hut out. So I'm going to try my best with this one. After looking at the Porsche wheels, I thought they were a bit off for the skyline. So I dug out the original wheels again, painted them gloss black. I also added a carbon fibre "look" to the hood, front splitter and fin of the spoiler. I just sprayed a light coat of flat black through the spray gun. Looks like cat on fibre in the flesh. My wires home now,(off work for the baby now) 9 mths lucky her . So she wanted to help so I went and picked out one of the fujimi drivers for her to paint. She did a real good job so far. Anyways enough of me ranting on. Heres the pics. I want to get the ride height somewhere near to this. And the driver. (she still needs her face lol)

Started this kit at the same time as my viper gts. Painting them both the same colour, ford mercury grey. Just going to be basic oob apart from the wheels. They are meant for a porsche wide lip. Interior will be black leather seats and maybe add some piping on the seats and maybe some flocking. Here's the box art.

been on the look out for a 1/12 for a while now. I can only find the mini cooper on the net I'm looking for a sports car (Ferrari lambo or muscle) thanks ps u guys have some super skills!!
