Thanks guys! I am working on the car photos right now I have one I HAVE to share. I guess Harry it will need to be in 1:1 reference areas? Just so I put it in ok. One is about the longest recorded drive ever. They changed the oil and flat tires in motion!

Hey guys Thanks again to all for the warm wishes. MY wedding went great and I went to San Diego for the honeymoon. (1st pic is my wife and I and our kids) I did not get to check out hobby shops as we packed a lot into a couple days. Here are a couple pics taken with my cell phone and the good camera. What a difference I went to Sea World day one and day 2 went to Balboa Park. There I went to the San Diego Auto Musuem and the Model Railroad Musuem. I took her to some others as well. Here is a teaser while I work on a post for the Autos post ( I still have to upload to Photobucket and all )

True! I smell a 1976 Pontiac Phoenix in those colors soon. lol and Thanks! -
Hey Rodger what kit is this? The blue body and unpainted. It reminds me of the old Hot Wheels Twin Mill but the hood and missing engines show otherwise. I'd like to maybe convert one of these If its not a rare piece( but i'll guess it is )

My fiance is from Chicago area and a die hard fan of many but she came up with the Studebaker Hawk for the Black Hawks( she is at a loss for her Cubbies and the only thing I can think Bear wise I can only think of quads. There is a Grizzly out there. -

Pick ups versus big rigs
Railfreak78 replied to Railfreak78's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Great point! I have seen 18 wheelers that are jaw dropping and are often over looked due to people thinking that there is not much you can do to them. I know from groing up with truckers that it's a passion for most. A trucker can tell you things about a rig that is well matched to a passionate hot rodder. -
Man thats coming together well. Great work on the scallops!

Oh ok. I was thinking Toyota but I'm only used to the Lindberg ones and the bed detail threw me off a bit -

Nice! I love Elks just make sure your not doing a fast left turn and blow a lower radiator hose and spinout. My buddy did that in a '69 Fun ride! I like the car and the color combo -

Hey Joe the best way is go to the Tips section and follow Clay's thread on Photobucket. It saved me a great deal of trouble and grief and I did upgrade to a pro account but I was no where close to needing to pay for Photobucket. Hands down Clay's thread is great! Good luck and I can't wait to see some stuff. -
Cool old truck! Nice work on the wires too. Once you get used to it you'll do it to old builds I bet. Nice blue too!
