I've always considered the El Camino and the Ranchero a truck. You have the bed and they are not like a Chevy Avalanche where the bed front can be folded in. It's unibody but clearly has a "bed". Titles can be odd though and I agree. I believe my 1981 Bronco full size is dubbed a wagon on the title.

I actually like the Volvo Reminds me of the Hot Wheel series called "Torpedoes" just with the wheels still inside the wheel wells.

Thanks for sharing Marty that is SICK! I can't believe someone thought that 1000hp can't hit 200mph when a new rice rocket will do that with only 750 or more CC. Look at Katana, Gsx-R and so on and so on.

I personally have let this thread sit with no comment from me for one reason only. I wanted to see how Nick acted, his friends acted, and his "elders" acted. I am going to say my 2 cents now. Anyone can take it or leave it due to I am NO side. Nick, a lot of people do want to help you. You do take things wrong at times. ( I actually PM'd you about a certain thing) Now on the other hand people.. How many people are on this forum? He is RIGHT in asking to not give to much to ONE person to handle without getting defensive. I can get along with people all over this board. Thats because when someone says they don't like something I did I do not take it personally ( nick pay attention ) and when you know how to let someone post without making them feel an inch tall ( pay attention people that bag on NIck) it will work out. Personally I feel a lot of people are missing out on a good trader ( more than 2 now ) cause you are all playing "puff my chest" So after a long wind .... Nick... Don't take everything personal. People making it Personal... make this a fresh start---

Thats beautiful! I have a love affair with these as one of my buddies had a 69 that was mean fast. That car was fun. Unfortunatly it was rear ended pulling a trailer. One week before I was going to buy it. Yours has a nice, clean look with a nice stance. Very nice!

Brian Vickers is a really cool dude. So Is Mears and they go way back. These guys used to be basically teammates at one time. Brian is a heck of a driver and has had that odd luck of I can lead all but the last few laps. I pray for a great guy to get better and fast. he has been a part of great racing teams and is to young for this to pull him out of a car. Hang in there and get well soon.

I'm going to try vids for the 1st time ever. I only want to do this for the showing of how big these spinners are and how cool this guy is as a driver. This is low quality coming from my old phone and I recommend sound off during freestyle cause I was yelling trying to get people into it I also apologize for when the camera goes all over the place. George autographed a sign I made and said before the race to make sure everyone saw it during freestyle. He loved my not so great art. I did it so my boy would make one for Blue Thunder ( his favorite).

Some body work updates. Now you can see the wheel wells are smoothed out a bit more. These massive trucks are actually fiberglass bodies and this truck is unibody like Grave Digger is so tonight I started filling in door lines and such. Now I have to wait like watching paint dry so I can sand it.

For the spinners i'm not sure yet. Some toy cars have them in about the same size. I'll have to do some digging around. If all else fails I'll make some to work whith these wheels as these are close for the main part of the wheel. Now the Neon I'm going to see if I can find a small kit at Fry's Electronics. That may be down the line though. Temporary ideas make me think of a transparent purple if they make any. Like Model Masters clear red and turn signal amber. Maybe paint a purple over clear sprue. Any Ideas are welcome. I have a Knight Rider car I need lights for too so I am always open to ideas.

Here is finally an update. It's actually been what feels like forever since I've been able to work on a kit. ( since the end of my 74 Caprice ) So now this truck has taken a better turn thanks to El Destructo Inc. I have a modern chassis from Jurassic Attack truck which is so much better than scrapping an USA-1. Although Kristy Edge ( Now driving Jurassic Attack is a great woman ) Any way... This model drives me nuts. It's against everything in me to glue it shut. The Uptown had opening doors and hatch. Glued shut now I did round out the cuts after these pics but it's still rough. Seems odd to close a kit up but open the wheel wells The stance already looks better but I have a lot to go. Thats an old USA-1 frame for moch up.

You can never go wrong with 300hp, all wheel drive, and street legal. Nice start!

Great looking truck. These trucks are fun too. My dad had a mustard yellow 72 3/4 ton camper special with a 402 and automatic. That thing was so fun to drive but you could literally watch the fuel gauge go down while smoking the tires

My wife and I lost 3 in early stages and then lost one when my son was born ( He was supposed to be twins.) I know how hard it is and I very sad for you both. It will be hard on you but rest assured you need to be there for her. My girl started thinking there was something wrong with her and blamed yourself. Go take care of her and best wishes. I hope the best for both of you.
