Well, that is called freedom of expression... or something like that. I don't really like it but i try to understand the thinking that happened when they ended up with the cars being like that... I see it like this, U like BIG rims... Ok, they don't fit your car....Ok, So what do you do? Stick with the ones that fit and watch everyone showing up with the same choice you made... Or you do whatever you need to do so you can have it your way... I guess I take Option #2... They have a BIG turning radius, yep, they Handle Like a Tractor, yep... But if that is what it takes to be different... Then the need justifies the way... or something like that... It's the same for Lowriders, Rat Rods, Hot Rods, Customs, Street Rods, Lifted Trucks, Rock Crawlers, Hella Flush Japanese cars... and the list goes on and on... They all have the right to exist because not everybody is the same... and so are the cars... Just my 2cents...

Well there's this "friendly" challenge between Luis Ayala and Me... We both started a couple of 1949 Mercs a couple of months ago... Almost a year to be more exact... This is my model, Revell' 49 mercury... I'm going for a modern custom look...

Hi people, I remember back in the early 80's watching a Dukes of Hazard episode that featured a Lifted (as in Off road) General Lee. I had no luck so far finding some info on this car, has anybody here heard about this or was I "tripping" back then... :blink: :blink:
