Man that's an awesome job. . . .looks really mean. . . Just one question. . . Are you leaving the rear body moulding and bumperettes body color? I think some bare metal there would look nice, just a suggestion. . .
  6. Hi, actually I'm president of Astrafari Mini Van Club here in Fajardo, P.R. And on the net I'm a member of Both, astrosafari.com and astrosafarivans.com, I've seen the Vannin site and I like it a lot. I might be joining soon. . . These are my rides. . .
  7. Well, I started this one a couple of years back, Still not done but here are some pics. . . This was the first one I built. . . Of the Mistery Machines. . . And this one was done after my 1:1 ride. . .

  9. Well I might not be the most qualified here, but I'll tell you guys what we did here in Puerto Rico. After attending my first show in the U.S., back in 2000, some of my friends and I decided to try something like that here. We called the show "P.R. NNL" that was held on Feb. 25 2001. We took the classes from the U.S. show and adapted them to what modelers build here, classes here were a bit different, being more like the ones in the 1:1 car shows. All shows here (as far as I know. . . ) were "judged" and we liked the way the "NNL's" are not judged but chosen by the modelers attending the "show". Anyway, we used the part about "no judges" and the classes from the U.S. show, and there you have it, the "P.R.NNL" was born. The were mixed opinions about the show but, to me it was a success. . . then again. . . I might be a bit partial as I was one of the organizers. . . Nowadays we have the "Caribbean Scale Auto Show" (CSAE for short) held each year by "The Small World of MB" (Barbo, here on the Forum. . .), and now on its 6th edition, and in my opinion, it's based in part on what we learned from the 2001 show. It is also an "NNL style" event as we call it here, being that prizes are chosen by the competitors not by judges. . . That's my $1.06. . .( 99cents +7cents Tax. . . )
  10. Hey Dude! Do you think there's a chance we can get. . . say, another 6 or 8 cases? Maybe we could make a group buy or something like that. Let me know.

  14. Thanks for your comments, Guys. This one gave me a good fight, specially the hood bulge and getting the "right" look for the roof/targa combo. Thanks again.
  15. Well I managed to finish this one just in time for this Friday's club meeting. I made it into a curbside model, for time limitations. Hope you like it.
  16. Hi, This one is for the next club challenge. . . it's an '05/06 Mustang converted to a Ranchero style Custom. I used the bed floor section from the Sidewinder truck. Not sure about hte roof yet, but I'm open to suggestions. . . Hope you like it.
  17. Thanks for the comments. Tires are from an old AMT pro street, and the complete engine/header combo is from the Phantom Vickie kit. And Mr. Candela, . . . I must be sick or something, my next one is an '06 Mustang. . . Anyways after that is back to the usual madness, you know. . . 4x4, slammed, conversions, you get the picture. . .
