  5. ok thanks. i was wondering because of the dates ? lol
  6. i would like to see the page in the magazine, someone else sent me that info. i really wish i knew the name of the person who built it, since it would help me find more info. if in fact the name in the magazine is not the builders, then we can get that much closer i suppose.
  7. well if anyone is coming this way or pops into Omaha..... shout at me! awbcrazy@yahoo.com
  8. here is an update. i still don't know who built it originally, so i am just posting what i was able to find out....... page 58 of the Model Cars contest annual Issue 121. If this is your car it says the builder is Monty Lowans. The show is the Southern Nationals, November 13 th 2006.
  9. that is cool looking Kenny!
  10. yep, what he said. i live in Omaha. here is a link to the "planned" trips for me so far this year.... some are Omaha and surrounding. the fliers for the shows he mentioned also. http://public.fotki.com/drasticplasticsmcc...-things/1/2007/
  11. yep it is. the same cast that sold on ebay recently for over $300. i could have had this one in trade for my 65 fairlane kit, but no resin is worth trading for a plastic kit LOL... now that i think of it, i could have traded, sold the kart and bought another fairlane
  12. i don't think anyone makes them? my buddy Dean Miller is workin' this one over no decals, all paint and photo etch he made.
  13. yes you can use baking soda and super glue to fill holes or small edge chips in resin and plastic. you need tape and celophane too.
  14. what year of buick do you need? 65 fairlane *only set for that car i have* http://public.fotki.com/drasticplasticsmcc...irlane-hardtop/ the others i don't think i have either. i will ad them to the wanted list for ya.

  20. something else to consider. Minidreams aka Dave made a good point on another forum about this...here it is... "Once I was shoeing up in CHI TOWN at the American Toy and Hobby expo and looked over and thought a model of mine was missing ! I saw the case but not the car ! I started to look around and then notice an guy holding it up ! I ran over there and was started to ask what the deal was ! He said he was moving it to another class ! He was being honest and moved it ! He moved the car frist then the case ! HE told me it was safer for him to move it 1 peice at a time over tring to be steady and move the display as 1 peice ! Well I guess a few more got moved that way also and at the end of the day there were a few builders looking for there kits ! SO could this be what happen ? Maybe it got left behind ! At the KC SLAMMER show that is here in june if a kit is not off the tables by 5 pm they take them and they go to the president of the club and he tracks down the owner and they will pay shipping to return the kit ! I would take a look at the table it was displayed at ! More than likely if it was snatch up it would have been by a builder that was displayed close enough they could grab it up and put it away then cover it up with there own builds ! " this also has happened to me, but still....ya never know? other models have come up missing too at other shows.
  21. i want to let you know the reward is up to $100 now. Anthony Rios and myself have added another $25 each to the person who gets this returned. the more i think about it and the more people that i let know, the more we want to see this car returned and the guy who took it have what is deserved.
  22. the Kestones look great on it! i like the scheme too, even if i don't like sports.
