Welcome back to modeling, great bunch people here. Take a picture for us of your 70's collection, I am sure there are more then a few who would like to see them.
Wow! How did I miss this, I just love the whole thing. You know I built this kit myself and never really liked it at all, but now I may just take it apart and do it again....................THANKYOU FOR SHOWING THIS KIT!
Converted from a Thunderbolt, white wall tires from the Hudson kit, a resin hood and scribed new door lines. This was a thought I had in my head for a few years and one day it just fell together.
Man what a great idea, I don't know why I didn't think of this. This looks good, almost like it could have been factory, good job! What else you got show off...................LOL
I found these pictures in an old book of mine, they are the only ones I could find at the time. I used a revell 69 charger Pro Modeler kit, was built as box stock when I got it for 5 buck. So how could I go wrong, so I took it apart and cut it up. Lost interest for a while a year or so later I was inspired again, this is what I ended up with.
Sunday April 29, 2012 in Kingston, Ontario. This is a Hobby Flea Market and Contest, doors open at 9 am, it is at the Royal Canadian Legion #560, 734 Montreal St. Exit #619 off of the 401 south. This is a good fun show.
Now don't be telling me that, I just bought a gallon my self. But I am in Canada may have a different supplier, I hope. Will report back next body I strip..................Thanks Marty.
This is great, nice to see this happening, tuff chop. Looking forward to see what happens next. Remember by putting it into the purple pond might eat the body filler, it always eats my spot putty.
I voted then I went to take a look, I have never looked before. But from now on I am going to look................ Guess I should look around more not just same old same old...............Thanks for the tip!
Hey Rusty, my son lives in Oshawa, do you know about the show coming up at the end of April in Kingston. It is a good show with vendors and contest......Cars, trucks and bikes only. If you want more details leave a message.
DAN
Looks great, to me looks like thus car has been sitting out side for 40 years and you just found a classic. Like it Like it, where about in Ontario are you located?
Welcome Kyle, when you say up north do you mean north of 7, or great white north? I am about 21/2 hours south west of you, but there are more and more Canadians coming out of the woods...............So to speak. This a good place to hang out.
Hey Jerry welcome, just another canuck. Glad you came back to the good side. There is a model show in Guelph next month, you should go and see how far this hobby has come. Do some posting we all like seeing what the other guy is building. Great bunch hear.
