  1. I have this kit and the metal transfers from Hobby Design. I might get around to it this year. Mine won't have the stock wheels & tires on it.
  2. I can see a couple of the Cutlasses in my future.
  3. Looking pretty nice so far!!
  4. I had an '81 Chevette so I'd love to see one reissued. I plan on 2 Gremlins. I'd LOVE to have an early pinto without paying $75 bucks for one. I almost had a Pacer a month or so back but I got sniped during the last 45 seconds and my computer froze up.
  5. I dig it!!
  6. You've done a terrific job with this kit!! I love it!!
  7. I dig it! Could've used a good wetsanding but it turned out great!!!
  8. This should be a cool thread to keep an eye on.
  9. Thanks guys; this will be one of the first completions after I get set up in my new work area. I forgot to mention that the hood insert is an old Scale Auto Style piece (Thanks Chris!) and the wing is a Tamiya -32 item. The chassis is pretty crappy but since it's a curbside, I'll focus on wheel fitment and outward appearance. The interior is pretty decent so I'll scratchbuild a nice roll cage for it. I'm going for a sort of "Wangan runner" look with it.
  10. I have the '62 Catalina bubbletop and it seems fine to me. I also have the '60 sedan delivery body with the incorrect B-pillar but the rest of the body is fine.
  11. Sorry to hear of your loss. I know that pain.
  12. That thing looks AWESOME!!!
  13. Looks great!!!
  14. Niiiice!!!
  15. Looking quite nice!!!
  16. Coming along nicely.
  17. I'm enjoying this build so far!! It's getting me motivated to start a '68 I want to build! Thanks for sharing your progress on this one.
  18. After a bit of replacement body work, I ended up with this... I'll try to get in a uniform coat of primer to see where it stands. Thanks again for looking.
  19. The paint was darker than I wanted it to be so I stripped it; some of the putty went away along with the undesired paint...
  20. Hey. This is an OLD project that has been on and off for a few years. The pictures are chronological so the latest picture is where it stands at this moment. I decided to ressurect it after realizing it looked a lot worse that it was. Thanks for looking.
  21. Thanks for the replies fellas. I got the majority of the bodywork completed but there are a few more spots I want to take care of. I'll resume progress once I get my hobby area set up in the garage. Here's a few pictures...
