  1. Great year to say the least... I like em all...
  2. Thanks alot fellas... messed around with this over the weekend also.... thanks for looking and comments welcome..
  3. Thanks for all the kind words fellas.. I really appreciate it... @ Keshaun I'll probably end up painting it with a spray can... I've made a little progress on this one I've been working on the plumbing, and I've also got the rear wheels detailed, thanks for looking and comments welcome....
  4. Looking good MIke.,,,
  5. WOW.... Mike you should be very proud of this build...I've been following this build from the start, the corrections you've made to this build are spot on... I'm building one over in the drag section as an outlaw stock suspension type build... and I hope it turns out half as good as this one... SUPER JOB !!!!
  6. Thanks for the pics Joe... I've decided to go with the front spoiler.....
  7. Fred to make the welds I take a toothpick and sharpen it to a nice fine point on the tip with a hobby knife, then dip in chrome or aluminum paint and then just go around the header tubes at different spots on the headers...
  8. Thanks alot Fred... appreciate the input...
  9. Good grief... as much detail as you are putting into this one.. I'm dying to see the finished results... AWESOME work Chris..
  10. Now that's what's up.... great job...
  11. here's a few more..
  12. Hey fellas.... I've been messing around a little with this one too.. I've made up the headers and painted them, and I've got the chassis all done with clear.. Now I can start getting this one knocked out... I think I'm gonna go with the blacked out wheels on this one too...
  13. here's a few more... I've also been thinking about adding the lower spoiler to the front bumper.. what do you guys think about this...
  14. Thanks fellas for all the kind words, and input.. I really appreciate it... Well I decided to go ahead and get something out of the way that I have been debating and thinking about for a while know.. what to do about headers.. of course there is not alot of room in the engine bay... but I decided to try and run them out the front fenders in front of the tires.... I've seen these on alot of cars and I think they look cool... I'm still kinda winging it on these... I'ts hard to find any good ref pics on how these are ran.. so I'm just doing the best I can, on how I think they should look.... this car has been fun and a pain in the butt at the same time.... but that's what makes it "all good" when it's finished...I've also been working on the intake, here's a few pics.. thanks for looking and comments welcome...
  15. Both build look great.... Awesome job on them..
  16. Fantastic work on this one....
  17. Keep it coming Dave... your work is IMPECCABLE...
  18. 55 pro sportsman kit...
  19. Thanks guys... a few updates on this one.. been working on the engine....made a water pump and vaccum pump from styrene... and got the carbon fiber decals applied to the rear wheel tubbs and laid a few coats of clear on the chassis... thanks for looking and comments welcome...
  20. Thanks alot fellas for the kind words I really appreciate it... Chad the front wheels are from Pro Track.... they make slot car wheels... The rear tires are from the old pro stock cutlass kits, that had the wrong size rear tires in the kit.. The rear wheels on the pro mod Camaro were made by changing out the rear centers from the pro magnums, to the aluma stars, I used those from some old pro stock firebird wheels... Alright fellas.. I've been making some progress on this one.. I've been working on the engines for this one and the Camaro I have going on at the same time since they will be similar in alot of ways... I made a couple of water pumps, and vaccum pumps from styrene rod and flat styrene..I used a crank trigger set up from Scott aka futturattraction.. I've got all the sanding done on the body, and It's about ready for paint still deciding on a color.. I like that color of green that was posted... how can I find that color... thanks for looking and comments welcome...
  21. Turned out awesome Darryl... you should be proud of this one... love the shop pictures..
