  1. The rubber hose is in the bead section? or is it somewhere else?
  2. I say real there is hardly anything pointing toward it being a model
  3. I did not think it would be that hard to find a 37 ford truck for this challenge....its proving to be frustrating but i also havent been able to get to the local stores.
  4. The answer: 1968 Chrysler GTX (Brazil) Arnit my dad had the 67 american with a 440, Those foreign models throw you for a loop.
  5. I Completely agree. Ive been drawing since a young age but a lot of mine are people and cartoons, I may post them sometime. I kick myself of one drawing that I did not get good pictures of. It was of a lady that I took over 8 hours on and many thought it was a black and white photo
  6. AH ok sorry bout that, Yea i had pm'd someone without letting them know which one to delete, at least they didnt delete both of them . Thanks for the compliment and, wheels take some practise im still working at mine btw to those that might not catch it, on the truck the headlights were changed as well as the front grill. Not too many actually see it :/

  12. The tires say model, the details say real, the proportion of the trees say model.....hmmm I say a real model...Model being my final answer.
  13. In a way I was dissapointed that I could not built the "driftwood" until I seen some of the prices lol and I begin to feel better about it. I did find the truck im building for about 6 bucks though.
  14. Some of these cars around here have a crome strip on the upper part making it look like it has chrome teeth. I have to laugh everytime I see one.
  15. That driftwood was the one I got in my email as well and I was looking for the dice lol. I also got a pic of a 37 ford truck rod.
  16. Has Dr suess trying to design cars again?
  17. That cage looks great. I eyeball most of my stuff...I dont take time to measure it out.
  18. First Up is a late model mercedes I took from a factory pic. The front door doesnt seem to be on scale but what can you say for drawing this during class The reason the front is cut off is because it flows to another picture below. Second is a Ford truck, cannot remember what year and below that is the photo I used in reference The other pictures are just off the top of my head so dont try to guess cause I dont even know This is the second part of the mercedes picture. These next two are just some from the top of my head.

Ill have to find my benz drawing....Jairus what do you use for your coloring? Im not trying to steal work by any means. I love to draw and cars and people are by far the best things to draw. I use just a pencil to shade or use an ink pencil.
  20. I want to do this one in 1:1 Hosted on Fotki Do you have anymore kits availiable? Not this particular 1....I may do that mustang on my own thats....different.

    69 Camaro

I looked and bad news for me... its acrylic water based paint. but I have dry sanded with 2000 grit on paint just enough to get the lines out.

    69 Camaro

I will have to see if its water based or not. It seems to have more silver at the bottom since I mixed the two so im hoping that brings it out and finish with a silver fade...I ran across the fade by accident last night.
  23. I do know that it is possible, so im going for it. Several monthes ago Hot Rod(I think) magazine published an article on paint rolling a car. So heres the first part, there will be another coat then wet sanded and adding layer until I get the smoothness
  24. Just something in those center caps says its a model
  25. Wow, I thought it was different in the type of stuff was used but nothing like that thanks for the info.
