  1. That is awesome, I would like to see more of that here.. And I hope no one quotes with those pictures.
  2. I cut it at the spot where it was bonded from factory. I had melted a couple parts with a blade heated up. I tried the same technique.... completely messed it up. Ive got to buy a plastic sign this weekend to restructure it.. Which I think will work out better because I can get the length and the stance that I want. So it worked out to a plus for me. Thanks for the tips. What should I use in getting these pieces together? Ive used glue it does not work my best is melting it back together, but I dont have a hobby stand to keep it stable. Ive been looking for something like a plastic bond, my father told me to us jb-weld(im still a little iffy on that).
  3. I know I should have asked when I asked about the lights, What did you use for your batteries? I seen a box there is that something you only hook up when you want the lights to run?
  4. Real...hopefully this makes like 4 in a row.
  5. Thanks for the replies, It seems that I need to get another frame lol...i hope not. I will work with it and see what it comes out to be.
  6. Im making a truck shorter in the bed so in order to do so I need to shorten the frame...I see the place where they(manufacture) pieced it in...so I cut there to get a smooth cut and putting it in place. What do I need to add the back piece with the rest of the frame?
  7. I use a simple glue from wally world "multi purpose cement" small tube that are a $1 apiece it holds everything together good. I did have to pull rearend out(mistake on my part)it came off clean and went back just fine.So for setting on a shelf it does great and its around the rattle can section.
  8. Seems like there are more mustang fanatics on here than I thought...though im a little behind times and my carrier bolt came out on me rearend I have an 02 v6 that ill be stroking out with the (i think) 289 or 302.
  9. My Father had the 1:1 68 GTX 440w which was factory in that year. The 68 came with either 440w or 440hemi(usually) now he has the 1:24 67 major downsize lol. I would like to get the 68 gtx and the 66 nova ss 1:24 for him .
  10. Woo I finally got my 37 ford for the build now...the challenge to get all the extra parts. And here is my goal... Seems like the engine will work, and got to find seat material.
  11. Its looking good, I hope i'm able to do as good on my build.
  12. Engine is not complete...neither is the paint im looking for an orange that will actually suit the build.

Here is one more pic before I get to the candy apple Its not very good, still trying out this camera :/
  14. ah ok I was tired of trying to keep it on anyway lol it was staying pretty good but im trying to keep some at scale....now I just need a moter to go with it seeing that it didnt come with one.
  15. Watching this reminds me of the days at acoustic edge and the system the put in an H2 This is one sweet ride...this helps seeing how things are done for some future builds.
  16. All I have right now is primer stage going through 4K sand and then plain paper the hood is in its first stage of paint though. I have neon wire for the underglow and under dash but im second guessing myself on that may just go with leds under the dash. And my 300 allread had a Fosgate sound so I have 3 subs 2 inverted(5 total) and one amp. I will only be using the 3 that have face o yea 2 in the door. The floor is getting the flocking and the seats are going to be 2 tone flocking
  17. Now that just makes me sick I got to step up my 300C now...What are you using for lights? I have 3mm and 5mm l.e.d. (the 5 being too large). Also what do you use for the subs?
  18. I searched the forums and couldnt find this site anywhere, may have not searched long enough. Anyway I just came across this http://www.plastic-models.com/ seems reasonable enough. Sorry about this I just noticed it was by tower hobbies it was faded in at the top in little letters.
  19. Thanks for posting. Idk if I will do that much detailing on the gt500 that im working on
  20. I dont remember seeing the jetsons or yogi either...lost in the muddle Ah I hate fixing typos gotta a new keyboard
  21. I wont qoute but I seen where one said a place for modified diecast. I think this would be great everything else is seperated except diecast we have to add that in workbench or under glass and it gets bumped quickly by others.
  22. Ah ok, you can count me out for trying lol. Ive laid glass at stereo school for kick panels but nothing like cars. I would love to build one of my own designs but I dont have the shop to do so here. And I dont have the patience to figure out the scale. So ill set back and watch if no one minds
  23. Where do you find kits like this?
  24. On the braided line the only colors I found were yellow green and pink. Am I missing something or would I have to color it?
  25. I know this is an olde post but some recent findings led me back here. Some guy here local that I was told about went to car shows and he used sewing thread for spark plug and other wires. I will not try to figure out the exact size what it comes out to be in 1:24 scale but I thought it may be worth a shot seeing that most of our wives may have different colors of thread
