Awesome job on that 'Vette! -
AMT's '39 Ford Sedan in Tamiya's French Blue with a resin hood scoop, removed front bumper and running boards, plug wires, valve stems, BMF, enlarged rear wheel openings, raised rear suspension approx. 3 scale inches, drivers seat belt, helmet, stock front axle. If I replace the slicks with street tires, this sedan is street legal with headlights, tail lights, mufflers, and license plate as in the begining the "gas" class was made up of street driven hot rods that were raced on weekends. <a href="http://s818.beta.photobucket.com/user/itsagas1320/media/Model%20Cars/DSC02930_zps8659e131.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i818.photobucket.com/albums/zz104/itsagas1320/Model%20Cars/DSC02930_zps8659e131.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo DSC02930_zps8659e131.jpg"/></a> <a href="http://s818.beta.photobucket.com/user/itsagas1320/media/Model%20Cars/DSC02928_zps980e7c1e.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i818.photobucket.com/albums/zz104/itsagas1320/Model%20Cars/DSC02928_zps980e7c1e.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo DSC02928_zps980e7c1e.jpg"/></a> <a href="http://s818.beta.photobucket.com/user/itsagas1320/media/Model%20Cars/DSC02924_zpscf3c41fb.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i818.photobucket.com/albums/zz104/itsagas1320/Model%20Cars/DSC02924_zpscf3c41fb.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo DSC02924_zpscf3c41fb.jpg"/></a>

High octane replied to nitro_force_fan's topic in Contests and Shows
I'm hopin' to make it this year as I know several people who will be there and over the years I've heard good stuff about this show. Weather permitting, I'd like to check it out. -
Wow, we got a lot of snow yesterday, and to think that I was in the Caribbean last week enjoying temps in the mid-80's. I'm ready to go back.

What a sweet lookin' Poncho.

I'm pretty busy, but I hope to make it, weather permitting as I've heard good things about that show over the past few years.

Fracturing decals ?
High octane replied to cobraman's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
You can coat your decals before using with just about any lacquer and Testors also makes a Decal Sealer. I've use both with great results. -
Some days in April are pretty nice and that's when I usually pull my car out of its hibernation in the garage. Of course a visit to Wrigley Field in April is usually cold. May is much better as that's when the car shows and cruise nights start also.

Fuel system 392 Hemi question
High octane replied to Erik Smith's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
Yes, on one of my Willys builds I used a front mounted pump connected to the water pump. From the pump I ran a line to a fuel block in front of the injectors and then a seperate line to the side of each injector. I hope this helps. -

Anybody else do this?
High octane replied to mnwildpunk's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
While I have two air-brushes and a compressor, I haven't used them in over 10 years as I like the convience of ratlle cans. Just shake and spray.I get good paint jobs and can do fades, two tone, and other things with the rattlecan.
