Wow Sam, that diner sure looks cool. Reminds me of the one I went to in the Denver area five years ago called Rosie's Diner. I'll be keeping an eye on your project as I think that you have done a great job so far.
Jim,
I use MCG seatbelt hardware and make the belts from masking tape. I feed the tape through the buckles and just fold it over. I then paint the belts the color of my choice. When dry, I'm able to stick the belts to the seats and I add a little epoxy under the buckles to glue them to the seats and they NEVER come off. I hope this helps you.
Absolutely as that is THEE place to be. The AMG club ALWAYS puts on a great show and there will be hundreds of beautiful models to see. Scale Auto is usually there taking pictures and last year Revell had a display of upcoming releases. This will be Milwaukee's 18th NNL so bring your built models and enjoy the show!
I REALLY hope that I get mine in one piece this time. The last few issues have been delivered in a damaged form and yet my brother-in-law who lives 25 minutes away says that his issues always come intact. Maybe he slips the mail carrier a twenty every now and then???
Scouperacer,
I remember being at O'Hare Stadium back in the mid 60's and it was a good time! I hope that your project turns out well and I'll be watching for it.
