  1. Really nice job on the engine and those fuel lines look great!
  2. Looks like you have a good start on your Poncho project. Didn't know that the hood was louvered, but I do now. Hopefully I'll start my Poncho project someday. I have been friends with "Arnie" for a number of years now as I am able to see him at events a few times a year and I'll be seeing him next month.
  3. Randy, My guess would be that the wheel cover is from an Plymouth or Imperial kit and the taillight (?) pod is from a T-bird kit.
  4. shucky, I'd be interested in a few pairs if they were for the 15" rims and I'm sure that I could round up a few more interested builders in your upcoming product also.
  5. . crispy, I saw the test shots of both the Hawaiian and the Chi-Town Hustler models from Revell in April and they look great. As you know Revell spent "Big Bucks" for the tooling of the Chi-Town Hustler chassis as it is the only funny car that has an offset engine and drivers seat. Last I heard, the kits are due out in Aug. or Sept.. Of course that could change too.
  6. Really nice job on the "General" and I like the opening doors & trunk.
  7. crispy, Was the Chi-Town Hustler there as well as the Hawaiian? They are owned by the same people.
  8. Is this another rumor, or did "chicken little" appear and is going to tell us that the "sky is falling?" Who cares! Let the sky fall and if ALL the model manufacturers close up shop that's okay too. I believe that most of us on this forum have enough unbuilt model car kits to last us a lifetime and then some. So if another manufacturer goes by the wayside,so be it. After all look what's happening to the Mercury brand and Pontiac, it's the sign of the times.
  9. If Gregg wants to use the language of his island, he should print out a glossary of words for us "Mainlanders" so that we understand what he is saying.
  10. Really nice job on that vintage gasser Joe.
  11. Rory, Nice lookin' build on that Mopar. The wheels & tires look right at home on that car instead of the Ralleys.
  12. Romell, Nice job on the tutorial, thanks I'll have to try it your way.
  13. Jim, Pristine condition??? Good luck. Out of the last 5 or 6 issues, only one arrived in pristine condition in my mailbox. I've talked to other people and they have had no problem with their issues arriving in good conditon, go figure?
  14. Tom, what a good looking build. That Chrysler looks really SHARP!!!!
  15. Wow John, your AWB Falcon came out lookin'good, real good!
  16. Chris, Go to: www.alteredstatesmodels.com and you should find what you're looking for.

  18. Really nice job on the diorama with a lot of attention in details.
  19. Hey Tony, really nice job on the '55 Chevy gasser. I built one a few years back and ofen think about doing another one. Yours is one sharp build!
  20. Nick, One of the guys in our club had built a wrecker not too long ago and painted it yellow & blue with CAMEL TOWING lettered on the doors. 21. Really nice build John, doesn't look anything like the Corvair I once owned.
  22. Mike, Check out www.fishcarver.com for some really good info on building a spray booth.
  23. A union Sheet Metal Worker huh? Me too, Local 73 out of Chicago.
  24. Some people don't do enough research and make decals for a car that never was and builds a car that never was. Just because their names are popular in the hobby doesn't mean that they don't make mistakes.
  25. Bill, That resin body looks great and with your magic touch, I'm sure that Olds will turn out to be one sweet build. I have seen your work in person and you are one great modeler!
