  1. That's Terry Labonte's 1990 Richard Jackson ride
  2. Being retired allows for modeling time ........... completed a "slew" of cars this year
  3. There are ?????
  4. ... 2004 Kelloggs/Delphi Monte Carlo ....... box stock Revell kit with DAP Designs decals
  5. Outstanding .......... simply outstanding ............. a beautiful re-creation of an iconic vehicle B)
  6. The whitewalls came with the kit B)
  7. ... because I just don't have the stable hands and dexterity to install it properly My latest creation is an AMT '64 Impala ......... box stock with the exception of the 283 small block from the Revell '57 Chevy kit
  8. Corrected .......... and yes, I know the registration stickers would only be on the back plate, but I can't change the decals
  9. How right you are ......... and as a native Texan I should have remembered that .......... have spent too many years in "one-plate" states (New Mexico, North Carolina, etc) .......... I'll see what I can do to remedy my mistake
  10. Corrected the decals ........ was pointed out to me that I forgot to remove the "V" on the hood and trunk ........ that "V" designates a V-8 car
  11. ... this model was constructed for a club '57 Chevy build ....... rather than build the usual gasser, hotrod, or custom, I chose to replicate an original from the day ... As a youngster I worked in a large Texaco station and saw quite a few of these 150 utility sedans (in fact my dad's company supplied a couple of his adjuster's these cars) ....... and I never saw one with a V-8 ..... I knew the V-8's were offered but I never saw one The build is from a Revell Black Widow kit and was modified to hold a 235 cu.in. Blue Flame 6-cylinder from Ron Royston at Early Years Resin
  12. I used Leon Tefft's Cobracolors Emerald Turquoise Metallic ......... it's an almost perfect match for the '69 Chevelle Teal :D
  13. .... as I usually build race cars This build is a replica of a '69 Chevelle SS396 I owned years ago .......... It was ordered by an individual and delivered to Plains Chevrolet in Amarillo, Texas .......... but something fell through and the car wound up on the showroom floor despite its odd configuration It was powered by a 350 horse 396 with a TurboHydro 400 transmission ........... no A/C, but it did have power steering and brakes .......... Teal inside and out .......... bench seat and a column mounted shifter .......... a strange combination, but I really loved that little car
  14. Good luck in building this classic ......
  15. Fantastic builds Mssrs Pentecost, Teresi, and Boyd ................ I love y'alls work B)
