  23. Thanks for the nice comment. The Comet body is from Competition Resins and the chassis is from a Polar Lights funny car.

  25. I painted my replica with Skoal Green lacquer from MCW (Model Car World). I just looked at the MCW website to try to find you the number of the Skoal Green paint, and it looks like the new owners have totally changed the website and reduced the number of product codes. They used to list the race teams by sponsor and give you their corresponding paint numbers, but now it's just a mish-mash of paint colors (with a majority of the colors with no pictorial color print) using made up names for the shades. I'm sorry, but this doesn't seem to me to be a good reference site for finding color matches any more. Their products are very good, but they seem to have made it all but impossible to find the proper color anymore.
