  1. We Have Lights! I finally figured out how to do the Lights! There will be Seven Color Changing Lights and 2 Bright White Lights in the Top of the Saucer, there is One Color Changing Light for the Interior and there are Two Green Death Ray Lights in the Underside. Underside and Interior Photos coming later... I started by wiring the Lights and then I glued them to plastic brackets I made from plastic. Next I glued all of the Lights in place and added a 9 Volt Battery & Switch. I grouped the Positive Wires together an soldered them. Did the same with the Negative Wires. Then I slipped some Diffraction Film between the Lights and the Windows and taped it in place. Light Test! More Coming...
  2. Martians on a Stick! I sprayed the Martians with Gray Filler/Primer. Next I sprayed them with Tamiya Light Green. I used Vallejo Flat Red Paint and Tooth Picks to paint the Eyes. Then I brushed on a Black Wash. After they dried I sprayed them with Dullcote. More Coming...
  3. How about a Cord Vette?
  4. Prime Time! After some more sanding, I sprayed on a couple coats of DupliColor Filler/Primer. Backside. More Coming...
  5. Thanks Tom! Yeah, I like playing with different Washes, for different effects...
  6. Fixing the Bug! I removed the Bug from the Stapler, then got the Windows out and the Headlights off. Next I need to remove about 1/16" from the bottom of the Body. I applied a black wash and then sprayed the Wheels with Dullcote. I cut 1/16" from the bottom of the Body and then Primed it. Here is the Bug in Model Masters "Grabber Orange". More Coming...
  7. Recessed Lights! I cut some sheet plastic to fit behind the Headlights and the 2 New Lights. Instead of using the stock Headlight Housings I'm going to attach the Headlights to the New Plastic Backing. This will recess the Headlights about 3/16". I also backed the Holes for the Thrusters the same way. More Coming...
  8. Thrusters! I am adding Thruster Engines to the Dodger. These are from the little MPC X-Wing Fighter. I used the Circle Template to draw the Hole Lines. I started the Holes with an X-Acto Knife and opened up the Holes with the Reamer. More Coming...
  9. Thanks for the Suggestion Gator! Antennas would be Great. I'm thinking about putting Solar Panels on the Roof too...
  10. More Lights! I removed the chrome from the grill and glued it in place. Then I measured for the locations of holes for new High-Power Lights. I started the holes with an X-Acto Knife then I opened them up with a Reamer. More Coming...
  11. Wash Off! Here is a photo of the bottom section after "The Detailer" was brushed on. The next day I washed off the excess Wash with a damp paper towel first and later with damp Q-Tips. More Coming...
  12. Grill! I am sanding the edges of some plastic strip to make the rear Grill Bars. I cut the Horizontal Bar first and glued it in with Zap-A-Gap. Here are the Vertical Bars in place. More Coming...
  13. Cut It Out! I decided to cut out the recessed section of the old Tailigate area. I used the Cut Off Wheel and an 1/16" Drill bit for the cutting. Next I filled the opening below the Tailigate area with a strip of plastic. Then I cut off the excess and sanded the area smooth. More Coming...
