USA-1 CORVETTE LSR TEAM PHOTOS! It took a while but it is finally done... Here are some Team Photos! Side Views... More Coming...

USA-1 CORVETTE LSR TEAM IS FINISHED! I started this project several years ago and set it aside. I just recently started working on it again and finished it! It started as an AMT '59 El Camino with most of a Revell Corvette Indy attached to the front. I tried fitting the Revell Attempt 1 on to the Transport and it was narrow enough fit inside the bed... Here are some Finished Photos of the USA-1 CORVETTE TEAM! More Coming...

REAL NICE WOOD WORK!

NEW KNEE! I cut off the closed end of the tube and glued it on the Knee Joint. Next I cut two 1/4" strips of plastic and glued them in the top & bottom of the gap behind the Knee Tube. Now the Right & Left Knees match! Then I glued two 1/16 Scale Carburetors in the Knee Area for added Detail. More Coming...

FIXING A HOLE... Part of the Right Knee of the AT-ST is Missing! The Left Knee is complete but the right one is missing a square section so I am going to fill the area... I found a length of plastic tube that is the same diameter as the Knee Part. I traced the end of the tube on to plastic so I can make a closed end for the tube. I cut out the round piece of plastic and glued it on the end of the tube. Then I sanded the end of the tube until the two pieces blended together. More Coming...

TIRE SLICING! The USA-1 Racer needs Tires! So I carefully Slice a section of tire with a single-edge razor blade. Then I Slice 4 more Good Sections. Here is the Inside View. I tried to cut them straight but cut all of the Tires on an angle. I had to go back and Slice a little more until I got 4 Tires even. After a little more Slicing and Sanding here they are! I glued the Tire Sections to the USA-1 Racer's Underbody with Zap-A-Gap Glue. Well that about does it. I have to do a little touch up here and there and finish a few details and the USA-1 Vette LSR Team is Finished. The next photos you see will be of the Finished USA-1 Transport and Racer! Almost Finished...
