  1. RRRobot Pilot! Dolores painted this Tamiya Driver for me about 15 years ago. Looks like a perfect candidate to control RRRobot! Had to give him a trim to fit inside RRRobot. More Coming...
  2. BiG Wide Slicks in the Back and Skinny's up Front! I found these Slicks in an AMT Dragster kit and the front tires are from the AMT Double Dragster Kit. I used a Sanding Board to sand the seam off the Tires. The Rear Wheels for the Slicks included a couple of Moon Discs and I'm using the Double Dragster Spoke Wheels up front. More Coming...
  3. Looks Great! Real Nice Build...
  4. BiG Arms! I did some more painting on the Arm Parts. Then I applied a black wash and a spray of Testors Glosscote. Here is a Mock-Up of the Arms. More Coming...
  5. Side Strips! I decided to add a Strip of Plastic on the inside edge of the Beast Body as shown. These Strips will give me enough plastic so that I can to round off the bottom edges of the Body. Here are both Strips in place. More Coming...
  6. Thanks for the kind words Jonathan!
  7. Arm Details... I cut some Brass Screen to fit the Slots I cut out earlier. Then I pushed the Screen against the inside of the Slot until it formed to the shape of the Slot. Next I glued it inside the Slot. Inner Arm Detail... I sprayed the Inner Arm Part with Flat Black and the Cylinders with Vallejo's Red and Yellow. I also added a strip of Metal Studs from Auto Graphics RC Stickers. Upper Arm Detail... I painted some Steel and Flat Black details. Then I added 3 strips of Metal Studs from the RC Stickers. More Coming...
  8. Thanks Ron! More Coming Soon...
  9. Thanks for posting this one! This was some the inspiration I had for the Moon Beast...
  10. Smooth Sides! I removed the Wheel Flares with Sanding Disk in a Dremel Tool. Then I used a Sanding Stick to flatten the wheel areas down. I cut pieces of sheet plastic to fit in the Wheel Cut Outs and glued them in place. Next I added a small plastic strip to each side right under the front wheel openings. More Coming...
  11. Thanks for the kind words David! This build was Great Fun...
  12. Thanks Luis! More Photos Coming...
  13. Front End! Here is the piece that I cut off the Front End. I decided not to use the Spoiler and only use about 3/16 of the Front End. Here it is glued in place and sanded a bit. More Coming...
  14. Thanks very much for the Allison Information Hakan! I modified the Rear Case some more, now it contains the Clutch instead of reducing gears...
  15. Rear Pan! I removed an inch from the Rear Pan to match the Body. Then I marked the Body where it will be cut for the New Pan. I cut along the Marked Lines with a Cut-Off Wheel. Next I glued the Rear Pan in Place. More Coming...
  16. Thanks Don! Unfortunately the Trans is made of Plastic, But Fortunately so is the Engine...
  17. Tight Fit! Even with the rear wheels moved back there is still not much room for a driver... Prime Time! I decided to cover the Yellow Plastic Body & Frame with DupliColor Grey Filler/Primer. We Need More Room! So, I cut almost a half inch from middle of the Allison Transmission. It's a Fantasy Transmission that I made up just for the Beast. It should look pretty convincing when it's finished. Now there is enough room for the Drivers legs. The seat is from the Vette Pro Stock and the Driver is a Tamiya Rally Driver. More Coming...
  18. Thanks Chris! So glad you are enjoying it...
