  1. Looks Great!
  2. Thanks for the kind words Tom! So glad you like it...
  3. Thanks Bob! I hand paint the Details. I like Tamiya Acrylic Metallics, they cover and level out nicely...
  4. Unpainting & a Wash! I tried painting the Lines or Hoses with a small brush and I messed it up. Then I tried a toothpick but that didn't work too well. So I cleaned up and touched up the mess. Next I tried removing the Silver Paint from the Lines with an X-acto Knife, that worked! The Blue Plastic shows through where I scraped off the paint. Then I finished painting all of the details and applied a Black Wash from "The Detailer". After the Wash dried I sprayed on a couple of coats of Testors Glosscote. More Coming...
  5. More Greebles! I cut 2 lengths of Aluminum Tubing and glued them in the holes under the 2 Plastic Tubes. Next I added some Pod Racer Plumbing next to the Edsel Vents. A Car "A" Arm was added between the Sides and the Ball Tire. Bullet Fuel Tanks were added next to the X-Wing Engines. Then I added 8 Weber Carbs from the AMT Double Dragster Kit. More Coming...
  6. Rear Window... I forgot to mention I wanted to enlarge the Rear Window. I cut out the Window with a Cut-Off Wheel. Then I cleaned it up with an X-Acto Knife, Sanding Boards and a File. Here it is after the Top Chop. More Coming...
  7. I Could Cut Off a Little More... I think it will be Yellow & Black with Mooneyes Decals...
  8. Thanks Dennis! So glad you are enjoying it...
  9. Adding More Details! You can add a lot of detail to a kit with Plastic and Aluminum Tubing. I painting some Plastic Tubing with Tamiya Silver Leaf and cut 2 short lengths off. I am going to mount the Tubing over the 2 little plastic nipples sticking up. Here is one glued in place. More Coming...
  10. Cut The Front! The front of the Beast looked too wide after the Top Chop. So I marked it for some Cutting. I cut out the slot with a Cut-Off Wheel. Glued it back together with Zap-A-Gap. That's more like it... More Coming...
  11. Great Start!
  12. I'm so Happy the Top Is Chopped! I Like It! Thanks for the kind words Chris...
  13. Magnesium, Copper & Brass! I'm painting Metallic Colors on the back side of RRRobot now, using both Tamiya & Vallejo Paints. Here is the Lower Front of RRRobot. I'm going to add more Brass, then some Red and Black. More Coming...
